I am just personally curious how many people would be ok with buying (or pre-order) another product from BioWare?

This post is not to bash BioWare or be rude to anyone that has an opinion.

My personal thoughts are....

I LOVE BioWare games BUT with DragonAge 2 and now the ending for Mass Effect 3 I will be very cautious on the next game they come out with.

Usually if it had BioWare'a name on it, I would pre-order on day one and try to get the Collector's Edition. But now with what has happened in the past few years I would NOT pre-order any BioWare games. I would probably still by the game but I would wait a few weeks for I did so.

Is there anyone else that feels the same as I do? Or do you still have faith in BioWare and will still pre-order/buy their games on day 1?

If so many people feel like I do, then I hope BioWare sees this as some sort of proof that the decision they are making are not good ones and they are losing customers.

EDIT: After 15mins of posting this, there are 3 pages already! And without being nasty to each other! :)
Thank you very much for taking the time and posting your answer and your thoughts!

If we had a good ending for Mass Effect 3 then we would be seeing posts  like “Hell yes I would pre-order another BioWare game and anything they put out!” or “I cannot wait to see what BioWare comes out with next!!!” OR even seeing many threads about the next Mass Effect game OR MMO!

I REALLY wished we could have seen that instead of what is going on now!

Pre-ordering and Collector Editions are definitely out, buying will have to wait and see what reviews(FROM FANS) come back as.

Pre-order, no. Purchase? Depends on what reaction is at release.

Pre-order: No. That requires trust, and BioWare has currently squandered much of mine with this ending.
Buy: For all intents and purposes, no.

No preorder.

If the game really is good... I might buy it.
Emphasis on might.

Right now Bioware is on two strikes, DA2 and now ME3. I am not going for strike 3. But if they fix the endings for ME3 in a way that lives me satisified, I might be convinced to pre-order their next RPG.

Note I said RPG, and not the new C&C game the Bioware spinoff studio is making.

Yes, I would and I speak for the majority 95% of Bioware fans! People who hold grudges show how little they have going on in the present and future to keep remembering things of the past. Bioware make wonderful games with their collection of extraordinary talent. You have to be broke not to get their games. Preorder assures you get day one DLC free as well :)

Definitely. Dragon Age II remains the best game BioWare have made, but Mass Effect 3 runs it close.

Hopefully those of you that disliked the games, that are unwilling to evolve with BioWare's changing ideals and goals, will eventually just leave and stop ruining things for the rest of us.

If the game looks good to me, yes. The ending was disappointing but the game was great otherwise. But hey, to each their own!

Nope, I bought a ME3 collector's edition... sold it back to Amazon for a $50 loss... I'll be a lot more cautious about investing in another BioWare franchise. Having an ending "fix" would help (I'd have to play it to know for sure), but every day that goes by... I get a little more frustrated by the whole thing.

Sure no more Preorder.

But even when they make some Great Game of a new Franchise, and everybody like it - even when every sindgle Fan said its damn Great - I just could not Play it.
Because I would had that bad Feeling that when they end this new Franchise in some Years in the Final Game - The End ruins everything and brake my Heart like ME3 did.

Just can't give them my Heart again.

Pre-order? No. Purchase? Maybe, I'll wait for the reviews (the reviews from actual gamers that is, I no longer trust the press reviews). A lot depends though on how Bioware ultimately responds to this mess.

No. I went into Mass Effect 3 fully believing that it wouldn't suck, and then not only did it suck, but it also made me too angsty to go back and play the two Mass Effect games I loved. It's like getting food poisoning and not being able to eat the food that made you sick ever again.

Not getting burned again.

Unlikely. It pains me as well, I've bought almost every game as soon as it came out since the black isle days. But after all the lie snad broken promises of this game, no. They lost at least one customer. Doubt it means anything long term to the company, but I'm done.
