I will still buy their game, but only if it is on 33% sale during some sale event.

I am just personally curious how many people would be ok with buying (or pre-order) another product from BioWare?
This post is not to bash BioWare or be rude to anyone that has an opinion.
My personal thoughts are....
I
LOVE BioWare games BUT with DragonAge 2 and now the ending for Mass
Effect 3 I will be very cautious on the next game they come out with.
Usually
if it had BioWare'a name on it, I would pre-order on day one and try to
get the Collector's Edition. But now with what has happened in the past
few years I would NOT pre-order any BioWare games. I would
probably still by the game but I would wait a few weeks for I did so.
Is
there anyone else that feels the same as I do? Or do you still have
faith in BioWare and will still pre-order/buy their games on day 1?
If
so many people feel like I do, then I hope BioWare sees this as some
sort of proof that the decision they are making are not good ones and
they are losing customers.
EDIT: After 15mins of posting this, there are 3 pages already! And without being nasty to each other! [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/smile.png[/smilie]
Thank you very much for taking the time and posting your answer and your thoughts!
If
we had a good ending for Mass Effect 3 then we would be seeing posts
like “Hell yes I would pre-order another BioWare game and anything they
put out!” or “I cannot wait to see what BioWare comes out with next!!!”
OR even seeing many threads about the next Mass Effect game OR MMO!
I REALLY wished we could have seen that instead of what is going on now!
If they fix ending ME3, maybe i will buy another Bioware games (i should say EA games, this is no longer bioware, especially when Drew Karpyshyn left company) but for sure i won't buy it in pre-order, NO MORE PRE-ORDER FOR BIOWARE. It's not worth it.
@down i agree with 100000%

If they don't change this ending I am done with Bioware.
If they change the ending and it is NOT FREE, I am done with Bioware.
If they fix this with DLC that is free of charge, I'm back in and will continue to support them.

Pre-Order? Probably not.
The only games I've pre-ordered for the PC in the last year or so has been Skyrim and ME3.
Skyrim I am quite happy with and ME3 was great... up until it ended about 10 hours earlier than I had expected and in a what that was quite disappointing.
I would probably buy another BioWare game at some point in the future, but only after it had came out and had been thoroughly reviewed by both the paid-for gaming press and the gaming fan community so I knew I would be getting my money's worth with the game purchase.
But I wouldn't blindly pre-order one again, not after the way they've been dropping the ball at the end of things in recent years.

As I said earlier:
Anyone that has criticized BioWare for how they have handled Mass Effect 3 are shameful if they pre-order another game from them. If you complain, and feel they wronged you....turning around and buying DLC + Pre-Ordering their games is rolling over (like Shepard did in the end) and encourages them to continue what they are doing.
I get not everyone will boycott buying new games, that's fine. But logically, why would ANYONE pre-order another game from them (if you were upset with ME3). BioWare has proven they can't be trusted in their current state as a company. What they say about a game prior to release can't be trusted.
Not only should people stop pre-ordering, they should be weary of the gaming journalists that review games. It's been made clear that they are biased as they get paid from these gaming companies. At the very least if you are going to buy again from them, hold off and see what other people are saying. BioWare and the gaming journalists they pay can no longer be trusted.
And of course, I only say this to those that are upset with how ME3 played out (not just the story, but how the company went about marketing the game prior to release, and how they have handled things after all of this). My post is not aimed at those that don't feel wronged.
What difference does it make if you pre-order or just "order"?
I think people buy games they hope they will enjoy playing. The vast majority of people who buy most games never even finish them.
Personally, I enjoyed the ME3 ending. Even if I hadn't, I don't see why it would influence any future purchase decisions.
Next Bioware game -> play the demo -> then decide whether it the gameplay is fun or not. If the next game has a crappy ending but provides 50+ hours of enjoyable gameplay, it's not a bad value.

Look, the only thing corporations listen to is their bottom line, and the only way to affect that is by voting with your wallet. They're not your friends, and their only duty is to their shareholders. I suspect that Bioware has only grudgingly acknowledged the fan discontent because the scope of the unrest and bad publicity is making EA genuinely uneasy. No company wants to be associated with a vocal protest movement no matter how much of a minority it represents, so right now they're trying to mollify the loudest critics without actually promising anything tangible in order to buy enough time for the discontent to fade.
I'm not under the delusion that anything I do individually will matter. Still, I cannot in good conscience continue to support a company after such a complete abdication of creative responsibility unless the problem is acknowledged and fixed. Obviously, everyone doesn't agree with me about the ending; they're free to do whatever they want, too.

A brand new space opera RPG game? I don't really know, maybe FPS instead? Less story and more action so that I can have fun without being emotionally invested and subsequently emotionally destroyed.
