Yeah I'm done with pre-ordering as well, not just for Bioware. I am very upset that I wasted 60 dollars on this game, on top of the hundred+ I spent on the last two.

Bioware isn't an automatic purchase for me like they used to be. Just being the best consumer I can be after product disappointments.

No. Even if there's any truth to the rumors of a free "the Truth" DLC that installs proper and varied endings, it does me no good until it happens. I don't pre-order a game for an ending that might come out months later, I pre-order expecting a quality, complete game in the box. Bioware needs to do a lot to restore my faith before I'd preorder genuine, guaranteed, bonafide, home delivered Knesia Solo to me.

If it's looking good, sure.

I didn't like the ending, but by and large ME3 was a great game and Bioware's still been pushing out quality stuff.

Yeah, I dislike the ending like most everyone else, but the rest of ME3 was so bloody perfect. I suppose if I pre-order from BioWare again will depend on how they handle this situtation.

No,

I pre-ordered ME2 CE and ME3 CE months before release. But they were not available on release day (Netherlands, Europe - who already are days behind US release). So, ignoring my disappointment of certain features of ME3, it's rather pointless to pre-order when EA/BW don't deliver their product on time anyway.

Yes I would. When they stop producing good games then I will stop buying them.

However I won't buy any dlc for ME3 unless the ending is sorted out. To me any further exploration of that universe is pointless now we know what kind of end is in sight for everyone.

Yes. I'm sorry, but yes I would. Mass Effect 3 was a fantastic game that has just helped pull me through one of the worst periods of my life. When I look back on it I think of all the good times, Mordin, Thane, Legion, 'I'm Garrus Vakarian and *this* is now my favourite spot on the Citadel!', the very last thing you say to Kai Leng as he goes down, watching Javik go on a whistle stop tour of the galaxy insulting every single species and person he comes across, the multi-player (which I was against, but turned out fun), I could go on... But ultimately, this was a great game and still remains one of my favourite series.

Yes the ending was limp as all hell. It didn't offer the closure I wanted, and has meant that we're going to *need* a fourth game to understand the consequences of these choices but ultimately a fourth game is going to be so much harder to make without the mass relays. Had the ending been better, this would easily be close to a perfect ten for me. As it is? An eight. As long as Bioware keep that kind of quality up and learn from this, then I'm still very much on board.

no more preoders or collectors editions from bioware. ME3 was the last straw. Their games from now i might consider buying when they massively discounted or if reviews by gamers in general is good.
But no more pre ordering as they openly lied in marketing me3

The sad thing... I've a sci-fi website, and local EA gives me digital review copies.

But I pre-ordered ME3 at December because I was so big fan of the series. I wanted the CE with the artbook, a metal case, etc. I didn't care about the free review copy (I just used this to access the game before my preordered copy arrives to EU), I wanted the CE on my desk.

I also preordered SWTOR because the beta test was so good, I wanted to give money to the developers.

That is changed. The review copies will go to the other editors of my site and I'll buy a Bioware game when they tell me I should.

SWTOR sub cancelled, pre-orders, CE, DDE, ME3 DLC definately out of question. I'd be inclined to consider buying their game if it received good reviews from both fans and reviewers, preferably after a 50% price slash.

Having a dedicated and passionate fanbase is cool unless you decide to disrepect and disregard them in a way BioWare did with ME3 endings and Tali's face. I've been proud to call myself a BioWare fan and appreciating what they've done over the years. Good stuff never lasts, eh?

Why would i?

No, seriously, why? They dont deserve any of it.

Ill just count myself lucky that all they took from me were hundreds of pounds and hundreds of hours of my life and call that a victory.

It will take me considerable time before I'm ready to preorder another Bioware product.

The endings of ME 3 are lazy and unacceptable, for all the reasons already alluded to in other parts of this forum. Between this game, and the very odd choices made for DA2, I will think twice before giving my money to Bioware or EA.

If they don't support a new ending I can't support another Bioware game. After DA2 and then ME3's Ending I don't feel I could trust them.

So they are added to my list of Franchises I will never play again (Surprisingly my hatred started on the third installment for most of these franchises.) Saints Row, Fable, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Call of Duty, and the list is still growing.

No more preorders for me. At all. After DA2 and then this ME3 ending, I can see that I am not the fan that bioware is looking for.

other games...dlc...maybe...after its been out a bit...or I can vet it some way..and see if I like it.

It depends on how they respond to this.

I've been a loyal fan since KOTOR. I own every game they've made since then. I typically buy the CE editions. I own DAO, and the Mass Effect series on both 360 and PC (with ME2 & 3 as CE versions on both). I buy all the DLC for all my versions. I even bought the MMO, even though I hate MMO's. And I enjoy it. So they've made a ton of money off of me, and I've loved nearly every minute of it. I've never hesitated about putting in my pre-order for any of their games.

If they listen to the community, and provide and ending that does the series justice, I'll certainly consider buying from them again. If they release it as a pay DLC, I'll probably buy that, and I hope they enjoy their $10 from me because there's a good chance that that would be the last money they get from me. I defend their day 1 DLC for a number of reasons. I can't condone releasing a product that so many consider to be broken, and then charging them to fix it. Or they could do nothing. Which would show a distinct lack of consideration for their customers.

I will not preorder another game from Bioware. I preordered ME3 back in August. I wouldn't buy another Bioware product before extensively studying the reviews by gamers, not game sites like IGN, Gamespot, etc.

By the name of Odin and the power of Space magic, I banish the preorders from my life forever!
I might buy it still, but only after a month or so.

If they fix the ending, I'll buy another Bioware game, but I won't pre-order one. Only after I see their next few games are back to the old quality associated with Bioware would I feel comfortable pre-ordering a game.

If they don't fix the ending, then I'm not going to purchase a game from them. I'm tired of getting games with no ending/bad endings.

If the game itself shows promise, why not. I'm not one of those people that buys games just because I like the developer. That's just gambling with your money, which apparently a lot of people seem to like to do and then blame anyone but themselves for doing so.

Besides the game itself was excellent, didn't regret a minute only the ending was 'meh'. Still was worth the money I spent on it. Also I have a funny feeling Bioware will put things right eventually, I have faith in them.

Pre-order - like many I would no longer pre-order a BioWare game. Purchase any BioWare product? That would depend on the product and what other people I know thought of the game (provided of course that they buy the game in the first palce). In short BioWare has to REALLY produce an outstanding product for me to consider buying from them again.
