Hi everybody. So how many upgrades can you get in the Normandy? Finished a first playthrough with level V Revenant, started a NG+ but only managed to get 2 upgrades in the Normandy to level VII. Rediscovering it only gives me to level VIII (there's only one Revenant in the game at the Citadel). So what happen to the last 2 upgrades? Where do I get it?

Or only certain weapons are upgradeable to X and not the Revenant? Thanks.

You can only upgrade guns up to level V. It is in Multiplayer where you can level guns up to X.

You can upgrade weapons to X in single player. You just need a NG+, replay ME3 character by importing them into a new ME3 campaign.

In NG+, you can buy 2 upgrades, making them VII. When you pick up a weapon you already have, it is upgraded 3 times.

Yeap this is what I meant, it basically got "stuck" at level VIII beacuse I can't seem to find/purchase anymore upgrades. I'm asking on how to get it to X. Don't tell me I need to start another NG+ after I beat this NG+ to get a weapon to X? Thanks.

Umm, I have no problem buying them at the Normandy's Shuttle Bay...

Umm I can't seem to find anymore upgrades after buying 2, or does it appear in the later part of the game. I'm still at Sur'Kesh in the NG+. I'm not sure if the upgrades are available based on mission progress since in my first playthrough I was able to get my Revenant from I to V immediately at one go in the Normandy.

How many upgrades did you manage to buy at the Normandy in the NG+? Thanks.

in my first playthrough I could only upgrade them to 5 or 6, but then in NG+ I could upgrade them all the way even if I'd bought them at level 1 during my ng+_ playthrough

start a new game plus. upgrade the viper to VII and then do palaven andpick up  another one - that will add +3. or upgrade the mattok the same way and do grissom academy. now you have a rank x.

the dlc n7 weapons you can upgrade all the way to x with credits on ng+. dont remember if yo ucan with spectre bought weapons

I upgraded my Black Widow to level X after the Citadel on my NG+ playthrough. It took an awful lot of credits though.

Basically, you need to do NG+ to unlock the high levels and if the gun is one that you find lying around during missions, you need to 'find' it again to unlock the last levels, but some of the ranks will be automatically given to the gun so you don't have to buy all of them. If you buy it, like the Black Widow, you can just buy the ranks straight away.
