 I know there are MILLIONS of these posts and that what I am about to suggest may have already been said, but here I go.

I feel the best possible way to end Mass Effect 3 is to just simply let the Reapers win.

Have a nice little ending with Shepard and his/her companions on Earth at the FOB giving hi heroic speech just to be interrupted by Hackett shouting over the radio that all hope is lost, Hackett being cut off and everyone at the FoB staring into the sky and watching in horror as a wrecked Crucible crashes into the Earth.

No catalyst, no starchild, no dark space relay turned child overlord.  Just pure, simple faliure.

I really feel that this would have been the most logical and best ending (admit it, you knew in your gut this was a likely outcome).  I actually feel appalled that this wasn't a possible one in ME3 (I mean seriously Bioware, you can let Shepard die in ME2, but can't let the Reapers win?)

So, I demand an 'all is lost' ending for ME3!
