I bought Pinnacle Station for Mass Effect 1. When I am on
the Origin Order Completed screen and I click “I Have Origin! Start Downloading
my purchases” I get an error window. The error says “core_launch_failure”.



I have had Origin installed since I bought Battlefield 3 and
I also use Origin for Mass Effect 2 and 3.

How do I download Pinnacle Station?

Is there anything I am doing wrong?

Never having wanted anyone's digital copies of things, if it's not on a disk, I'd not acquire it. I can't offer any advice, other than to read the stickies and search the archives, just ignore the forum's own finder. It's broken. Use Bing, Google, or Yahoo, with a site redirection like this:

site:social.bioware.com

All of this site's forums, particularly the Tech Discussion ones, died about ten months ago. No one ever returned after the off-season, other than to ME-3's forums, so there are precious few on hand to answer here. This is a gamer to gamer self-help place, without official oversight.

The only Official Support is on the EA Help pages.

Well, I'm a noob, completely, but this is what happened to me. I started with ME3, actually, and got Origin on my pc at that time. When I decided to d/l ME1, I did just what you did and clicked on the "I already have Origin" and it wouldn't work. So I switched and told it to d/l WITH Origin and that worked. I hope this helps!

So I talked to a Customer Support person (thanks Raghav)[/b]


And he has me uninstall Origin then re-install it and Pinnacle Station was there ready to download! 
So if anyone else has this problem, uninstall Origin, redownload it and install it!

Just a quick, slightly off topic question, does it display in your games list with all your other games after you use you're install/uninstall trick?

I redid my os and now the game doesn't recognise that i have a download. Origin dosent allow me to redownload the DLC..

How do i get the DLC again
