I've been playing the Mass Effect Multiplayer for a while now after thouroughly enjoying the campaign but it seems since yesterday every game I join disconnects me at around wave 8 - 11. This is extremely frustrating because I enjoy the multiplayer but without and credits or exp I am not advancing at all thus making my further gameplay pretty pointless, this issue seems quite recent and I am aware that being patient may be the best option but would still like some inisght into it.

Is anybody else having the same issue, or a similiar issue at least?

I am aware of some PC connection help posts from Bioware and have used all the troubleshoot help they have given me with no success.

If you have any information to help me out could you please post a reply.

My computer is in fine shape, fully capable to handle Mass Effect requirements and my internet connection is more then stable (wired) and at a sensible download speed.

Can't say for sure that's at the same waves but i got disconnects every game i played today. One of them in wave 11, 10 secs left. Really frustrating stuff. Internet connection was stable all the time

same problem,would be okay if the credits, an xp carryed over like in bf3, but as they dont its a wast of time playing

I know that everyone thinks that is the solution, but they may as well just fix the problem completely. But doing both couldn't hurt also I guess.

The bonus weekend might be causing server load issues, might also be the new (useless imho) pack they added to ingame store. :<

Yeah well I do play silver. I'm gonna try bronze but I don't think it will make a difference.

Same problem here, it becomes pretty annoying since it seem to occur every game session.

Happened twice this morning around 2-3AM, wave 10 then everything freezes in place with the load icon spinning in the upper left corner. Everyone's still in game communicating with mics, then "lost connection to game" and dumped to multiplayer screen not lobby.

Really want to enjoy this game but doesn't look like I can. =(

Exact same problem, to the letter. I have yet to test other difficulties though... could it just be silver?

Same here. This is not a new bug, BTW, it has been happening to me with varying frequency since release.

Can anybody confirm if it's only silver? I keep saying I'll try bronze but I've been a little busy haha.

Also if you are having the same problem could you post a region? Want to figure out if the regions are similiar or not since we are getting any information.

EDIT: Just played a bronze through fine. This is the first game I've completed in the last 3 days, could be silver flooding for the reaper crate, will try to confirm.

I have a feeling it could be hosts, what region are you in also?

If this is the case I feel they may never fix it.

Are you hosting your own games or joining others? Because I'm forever losing connection when joining games (Quick Match), it's absolutely infuriating. It doesn't tend to happen so much when I'm hosting my own.

If I host, my whole team disconnects around the same time I would usually.

@Kirmy The exact same with me. If I host then around the same time that my connection would cut out the rest of the team cuts out and only I am left. It is on all difficulties I've found, obviously not so much with Gold as I've only ever reached wave 5 :/

I can't even host games, much less join any, keeps claiming I lost connection to the EA server when I go to create one. This is with my computer in my router's DMZ with Windows' firewall turned off. Seriously, wtf?

Seriously BW, can't you make the game keep track of exp/credits and update it after each wave and not just the end of the game? That would fix the problem (mostly).

Though considering no one ever replied on this thought, possibly the "implementation is not worth the effort", even though it would significantly improve gameplay experience. :/

I have the same issue as well, happens in bronze or silver, hosting or not.  I can always join a game when I fire up multiplayer but then disconnect anywhere between wave 1-3.  I played Multiple games without issue up until Friday 3/16...when this issue started and it hasn't resolved itself since!

Keeps happening to me too. Haven't been able to mp for days
