Also, I mentioned I wanted to pass my squad a pair of Argus - both Garrus and James (in that same fight, I kept restarting the mission to test out weapons) fired what appeared to be single shots only instead of a burst. I also couldn't tell if they were firing the Valkyrie properly, or just single bullets. Anyone know?
I think on my Infiltrator play I'll give them Falcons with Cyro Ammo on them. I'll just snipe whatever they can't hit. In the Benning mission, they'd take out assault troopers in seconds with a double-tap. Blam-blam and the trooper's corpse is flying away.

and yes the cryo ammo + falcon is fun, hell slap with a particle rifle for more fun!
aside from other AR's i could only mention Vindicator and Avenger even the Phaeston that your squadmates handle well!

BTW the DLC rifle + Squad inferno ammo and rank 6 explosion upgrade = laser beams of explosing death (kills most stuff in a couple of seconds, standard troops die on touch). Seems to be buggy where the explosions get trigger with every hit and DLC rifle does tons of hits a sec.

Well if you want mass fire power you want large Mag size on a full auto weapon why because squadies will fire until clip been used up then reload. If you dont want them to expose them selves for to long use a difference weapon with less ammo per clip or non-full auto.
squadies AI are not that dumb and stupid on getting shot even on insanity, if they r taking shots they will go to cover, even on cover while taking hits they will move cover to cover, and there is also the squad controls!

I'd go for the N7 Sniper, Black Widow, Incisor, or Raptor. I'd lean heavily on the Incisor.

tempest or paladin... really depends on your playstyle,, particle rifle > rest of the list, if u dont have the dlc then go for revanant or falcon

strip their barrier first with overload, etc. then particle rifle will just melt their armor, particle rifle is strong but a lil bit weak against sheild and barrier but with the right mods and power ammo... it will decimate any enemies!

snipers here are 50/50 hit or miss accurate, take forever to shoot, but if u want a playstyle commanding and directing squadmates... then go with Widow for long range then a Particle Rifle/Revenant/Flacon for mid-close range

the spectre weapons are mostly for your character use not squadmates... except for Paladin i guess!

I noticed Kaidan isn't in the OP. But I'm guessing, just give him the Particle Rifle and pick weapon damage for Alliance Officer level 4, since that's the only thing that gives him bonus weapon damage?

The Graal has a much tighter spread though, so at further distance has a better chance of all of its 6 spikes hitting.
