Mass Effect Theme (ME1 ignoring the elevator music - name pulled from the launcher files)
The Normandy Reborn (ME2)
An End, Once and For All (ME3) (and Leaving Earth)

Your thoughts on how things have changed with the Mass Effect theme?

My thoughts: (IMHO - nobody else's)
The melody of ME1 was well-defined, but the orchestration was very basic, making the melody the focal point.
The melody begins to get lost but the music gets some depth with more orchestration in ME2.
The ME1 melody is almost completely gone, but the essences introduced in ME2's version are the only things left, stripped down to their basics.

Mass Effect Theme set the stage. The Normandy Reborn stated that things were similar but twice as big (as was the Normandy). An End, Once and For All was just an echo of The Normandy Reborn/Mass Effect Theme.

I wish we could combine parts of all three: The melody of ME1, the depth of ME2 without a loss of the focus on the bare essentials presented in ME3.
