And I knew Shepard is going to die. It juts one of the things you expect since playng first one.
Edit: Actually all I want to now is what happened to them. Did they survived the Harbinger blast (of course I am ignoring the magic transportation to Normandy). If Anderson survived maybe the did too. They were strong. Lots of good armour, barrier and fortification skills.
I just want them to live, or to know they are alive. Kaida, Ashley, Liara, Garrus should survive that. Isnt this what Shepard fought for?

But that it would be only one of the endings. One completely tragic ending (failure), some endings between (neutral), and a happy endings. I want our chocies to shape the endings... well, you know, since ME Universe is about choices

the grinmdark crowd got their depressing ending. Giving choice will hurt no one. Or are you afraid you will want to choose a happy ending which will make you feel less dark cool and edgy?
That's ridiculous. I don't want a 'depressing' ending because it makes me feel cool and edgy. I want a depressing ending because there's no way this story can end happily.

And has it been at all? So many died.. the only thing left is to kill everyone we care about (which is getting close by the way)Lilaeth wrote...
I disagree. Letting those who want a happy ending have one wouldn't spoil anything. But let's face it, life after the war isn't going to be any kind of picnic.
I support this! Also you should all check this thread: http://social.biowar...5/index/9924826
Support happy endings!

Happy endings would ruin the whole atmopshere of the game, tbh. You're in a galactic war to save all organic life, millions are dying and millions more will die... and then you have a bambi's mom moment? No, thanks bro.
Did you actually see Bambi? Bambi's mother was murdered. Why would you call a possible happy ending a "Bambi's mom moment"???
But other than that, sorry, the game I just played is not the GRIMDARK masterpiece people who don't want the endings to change seem to believe it is. It is a game where you collect fish and ship models and make a mini game out of finding your pet hamster, not to mention the romances. There are dark and sad moments, like Mordin and Thane's death scenes, but those were not like the endings...they made sense within the story, and they weren't sloppy and confusing. The atmosphere of the rest of the game was NOTHING like those last ten minutes. Thankfully.
Even if they *just* fix the squadmates teleporting to the Normandy thing, I'd consider that a big improvement, but if they do give us happy endings, I'd be pleased, because it would show that Bioware is actually listening.

It's because of the transition after the death. Birds are chirping, spring is coming and a choir is happily singing the background music. It's like '' yeah, his mom just go murdered. Here's some jolly ****!''
It completely ruins the emotion and atmosphere of the moment.

Is this so hard to do?
It seems to me that only 1 Tragic ending can happen, no matter what. If it's only 1 Tragic ending, then to what purpose did we spend the last hundreds of hours playing as Shepard for?

Gtfo. I'm glad that you got what you wanted, but why can't you support this for other people's wishes? You're selfish ****** thats what you are. And if you call this a happy ending then i quit, seriously:Xrissie wrote...

KILL EM ALL
But in all seriousness, what Brent Knowles said about games is very true.
If I wanted grimdark, things happening beyond my control, people dying despte my efforts, I turn on the news. I read a newspaper. I play games to escape from all the darkness of the world, if a game plunges me into further darkness, why should I bother playing the game? It is beyond ridiculous that there should be only one ending, when so many previous games from Bioware have many permutations on the ending.
Don't insist that we should like sour food simply because you like it, a menu should have more than just sour food on offer.
