I really did try to imitate Liliana there
Seriously thanks! I needed a new background. That firestorm screen shot was getting stale.

Par Vollen is the Qunari homeland. Seheron is a former Tevinter client state that is now in Qunari hands and is the location of a lot of the fighting between the Imperium and the Qunari.valis123 wrote...
Thanks! Are both Seheron and Par vollen Qunari country?
I have no idea. I imagine that "on the scale of the original game release" is hardly something you would find in a content pack. That seems like an unrealistic expectation.EJ42 wrote...
Will we possibly see full content packs on the scale of the original game release, which cover other sections of the map, or is that something that would come with a new game?
It's as much of the world as they know about. If you picture Ferelden as being about as large as England, that'll maybe give you a comparison as to roughly how large the continent is. Solo80 on the previous page is correct in his assumptions, though I doubt the southern edge gets all the way to the poles (or anywhere near). It is much cooler that way, and the continent extends a fair ways south of the Korcari Wilds into the icy wastelands that the Chasind are said to come from.Capt. Obvious wrote...
Is this really all of Thedas or is this just all of the explored Thedas?

Looking at the map does make me wonder what's next for Dragon Age.
I'd have a mapgasm, but experience tells us the likelihood of seeing it anytime soon is marginal at best. For example, I'm still waiting for a complete ASoIaF world map. Heck, AFAIK there isn't even a complete Forgotten Realms map out there. (To use two worlds that are fairly close to Mother Earth's current look. Being an absolute copy of our world, Warhammer Fantasy's map can be easily found on satellite images and I suppose a proper political overlay's there to be had as well.) TES, too, has more than one continent, but information is slim.MarineBorn wrote...

Hmm... I should have a look on and salivate over Eberron's map again; it's been a couple of years.
As for questions:
Given the name; is Qundalon Qunari territory? If so, why has there been no mention of Qunari-Ander conflict IIRC? Come to think about it, why no Qunari-Antivan conflict? In recent times that is. All we've heard about on the forums, in the game and in the CE guide are Par Vollen, Rivain & Seheron/Tevinter.
And are the white spots in the sea near Val Royeaux remnants of a former super-bridge, an Imperial Highway shortcut?
Also, since I didn't notice it on the cloth map: I'm amused about there being a Kassel in Thedas.
Anyway, thanks to the G-Man for giving us HQ map-porn.
Otherwise I wouldn't have asked. I'm actually hoping for some lore tidbits accompanying the answer.EvilDeity wrote...
Certainly looks that way.

Am I the only one not being able to download the map? Somehow the "Click to download" button vanished, at least for me. Please excuse my backwardness, but could someone provide me with a direct link? Thanks. :-)
