No contest.  Thane would wipe the floor with Kai Leng. Kai Leng should be embarassed as an uber-assassin, that a Drell with KS, nearly on his death bed, could keep him off his mark. Of course that Drell was a bad __ __!

In my mind, I put on that fight. Thane and it was glorious. My Vanguard Shep rolled over Leng, too bad they didn't make him like he was in the books. Perhaps then I wouldn't be laughing at him right now. Now, my Vanguard Shep and Thane in a fight, that might prove to be interesting. Although I think he could still wipe me out. He's just that damn good.

After the ending, I'm planning on starting a campaign for Thane survival. Who else wants to see him beat the odds?

To be fair, Shep is physically superior to Kai in everyway. He has more synthetic upgrades than Kai, more experience, greater feats, better gear and weps, and is all around smarter to boot. Kai has some gene therapy to increase his physical abilities. So does Shep. And all Alliance marines. And though Kai has synthetic legs and implants, Shep has an indestructible synthetic skeleton and a bit of a healing factor described in the fluff of his upgrades. He is stronger, faster, and tougher than Kai. Combined with superior feats and experience and 2 party members with superior skill than Kai? Kai never stood a chance at all..

 Gotta go with Thane. He'd have more stamina, have spent more time exercising to keep his strength up and probably have had a better gun than the standard C-Sec one.

Plus biotics.

Thane. Why? Because he almost singlehandedly prevented Kai Leng from fulfilling his mission. While he was near death! Also, Kai Leng can barely stand up to Shepard. He would have died pretty fast if he didn't have an entire Cerberus squad and gunship backing him up in every fight.

For those who said "Sick thane kicked his ass", well first of he didn't, he was very quickly dispatced by Kai.

Secondly, a "sick thane" would still wipe the floor against the vast majority of other characters in the series so its no surprise he got a few hits on Kai Leng.

But Thane at his peak? Id say its one hell of a fight. KL has feats to rival Thane in the "art of killing".

..not rly..all the feats that have been listed for Kai, thane has done. Except Thane has been doing it for a lot longer than Kai. And has went through a suicide mission. Kai has never done any of that.

Thane kicked his ass during the first round of the fight and that was when he was severely weakened by his illness. He would've annihilated Kai Leng were he in prime condition.
