Thane most likely. Kai seems very reliant on the element of surprise. In-game, in a straight up fight, he doesn't really do much other than jump around and have other enemies be the actual threat.

Hell, on Thessia he can't even beat Shepard, it's that cheap thing he has the gunship pull that lets him win

Thane. He almost requires zero equipment to pwn.

Kai Leng needed robotic legs, cybernetics, ironman hand cannons, daddy issues by not being as bad ass as Shepard, etc to even come close.

Oh and that gunship, several troopers, a few nemesis, and some phantoms.

Thane. Kai lang could barley beat him when he was ill with Kepral's Syndrome.

A terminally ill, very close to death Thane was already winning during the fight, managing to put Leng down on the floor (even if he didn't stay down).

Thane at full health would've taken Cornflake Boy to the cleaners.

..not rly..all the feats that have been listed for Kai, thane has done. Except Thane has been doing it for a lot longer than Kai. And has went through a suicide mission. Kai has never done any of that.

Clearly you haven't read any of the books. Kai singlehandedly took out an entire special forces turian platoon" and brutally murdered a krogan with his bare hands. Due to what i read in the novels i am led to believe Kai is the only person to possibly rival shepard in combat.

You haven't listed a [b]single feat for Kai if i might add.

Thane, obviously. He was already half-dead, and the only reason Kai Leng still won was because he had a ****ing sword.

I'm not really familiar with KL before Mass Effect 3, but if he was so good why didn't TIM tag him as a member to stop the collectors instead of Thane? Seems like he could have been useful. Is there a legit reason or did he just consider Thane better?

thane would of won if he was healthy but i was happy that thane went down in a fight instead of being killed by some disease

Thane, Kai might have taken on all those turians, and fought a krogan and ate cereal and so on but Thane was the one chosen the Suicide Mission, Thane is the one that dosen't rely on cybernetics and Thane is the one who beat medical science to stay alive that long. Also Thane dresses better.

Which doesnn't mean much... Why would TIM put Kai Leng, an extremely xenophobic individual which could jeopardize the entire mission due to the majority of the squad being aliens? 

TIM wouldn't put every single one of his best agents in the suicide mission, its only logical to assume he would keep one/some of them around incase the suicide mission completely fails. That and Kai leng was employed for other tasks.

I have. And I had mentioned feats for Thane as well might I add.

I've read the books and again it is nothing Thane hasn't already done. Attacking the collector base for example is more than enough to dwarf kais feats. And before you say "the crew could have survived!" the crew weren't fighting alongside Shepard. Nor did they have to hold a point against leagions of collectors.

I already defuted the part about kai killing a Krogan. Thane has done so too. Has a note written about it. Hell Mordin killed a Krogan with Farming equipment.

Thane has better feats and more experience. He fought and killed krogans and Asari commandos from afar and up close. I already mentioend this. Read my posts.

Someone said that any crewmember could defeat Leng. That is not true. I'm pretty sure Thane would have died if he wasn't loyal in ME2. Being loyal he just dies due to blood loss + terminally ill.
Miranda too dies if she isn't warned beforehand.

Nope. You can never warn her about Kai. He just attacks. And she only dies from a shot by her father.

And if Thane is not loyal, he does not show up in ME3 at all.

Kai Leng had an unfair advantage with all his Reaper tech implant upgrades.

But still I would say a healthy Thane could kick his ass. Kai Leng was nothing without his fancy tech stuff.

@CodyMech, yes you can warn her about Kai. When you speak with her via hologram in the Spectre office, Shepard can mention that Kai Leng was involved in the Citadel attack, to which she says, "That slippery bastard is still alive?" Then something about having to be more cautious or something,
