Yes, its impressive, but taking out krogan unarmed is not exactly something Thane is a stranger of doing.

Thane was shaped to be a weapon, as was Kai Leng. While Kai Leng has some crazy augmentations that already make his assassin abilities more dangerous... Thane was raised to be shaped into a weapon since he was a kid.

So yeah, I'd say Thane. 20+ years of hardcore training to be an assassin? Thane, hands down. I mean he kicked Leng's butt even when he was already in terrible condition.

I was never making him out to be weak. Just proving that he is nothing compared to the party members. He is good obviously. Just not on their level.

They never finished their fight and Palpatine was immensley powerful to being with. Plus Yoda was old. Yes his species can live a long time. Yes age doesn't matter to much for jedi and sith. But in his case? It does. Cause he is old among the old.

I agree. But nonetheless Thane has been fighting longer as well. A lot of his work would invole straight up fights as well. Not everything will go as planned.

I wasn't making claims when I am referencing to in game events and lore in general. Your claims have been refuted already, you just refuse to believe otherwise.

Prove that he wasn't. All we see is a few marks  and cuts on Miranda's cheeks. And her being tired. Other than that she seems fine. She was hardly "beaten badly". And she never even knew Kai was there. She was warned Kai was around yea. But not then and there at that time. So she didn't have time to prep herself. She just knew he was there. There is no reason for him to leave her alive unless his life was also in danger.

It's common sense. You think the grunts number 1 motive was to kill Kelly? No it wasn't. To leave a huge threat like Miranda alive is stupid. If warned Miranda knows what she will be up against. Otherwise she just assumes she's dealing with husks, grunts and her father. Not a trained soldier like kai that has implants.

But Thane at his peak? Id say its one hell of a fight. KL has feats to rival Thane in the "art of killing".

Yes, KL is deadly, but  If their roles would be reversed, If KL was in as a bad shape as thane was, you you really think he would have been able to put up as a good fight against a peak condition Thane?

No, of course not, I did not think so either.... KL might be more durable then Thane thanks to his upgrades but in the end, it would not matter much unless he focused surviving long enough to getting the hell away from Thane.

Guess they didn't want to make adepts and Vanguards op'd in that cutscene. Since their melee attack involves a biotic bunch it would be a little unfair to have a biotic Shepard punch a hole through Kai.

I think I would start a new Mass Effect 1 game with a biotic class (switching classes between games is cheating) just to see that.
If I had any motivation to do so in the first place at the moment.

For some reason (plot or being completly out of breath) Thane did not engage KL when he was vunerable after that biotic blow. It could have ended right there.

If Shepard can bring backup, so can Kai Leng.

They should have just made it a solo fight between Shepard and Leng.

Thane hands down.

Leng may have have invisibility camouflage, a sword and barriers, but with Thane, it's either Leng dies before he knows it or he will be b*tch-slapped across the room with some biotics and then neck snapped.
