So, since my doubts about an alternative ending start to grow further I tried to find my peace with the ending we are given to..

.. so assumingen this IS the real ending, well hey, okay Shepard gets boned in two out of three cases. Or if earth gets destroyed he gets boned in all outcomes... but okay, at some point I can accept he is our tragic hero and has to die... so what's left ?

Yeah exactly - all your friends. I mean allright, okay, the whole fleet in the Sol System eventually gets blown up by that great colorful shockwave ( I mean, even the normandy could not outrun it ). But jeez, who needs all those admirals and millions of people you don't know on all that batlteships ( warning, sarcasm... ) . At least we get to see that Joker manages to save our beloved friends (however they made it on the normandy).
Well...thanks Bioware, at least you don't take all good and hope from us! That's the least you could do, showin us our friends alive...

... alive on some random, foreign, planet. The normandy is in pretty bad shape, mass relays are gone, and no one knows where they are anyway ( even if there was a galactic fleet left, which would care about them.. ). So unless this great planet has not a great variety of food ( so neither turian,asari, human or quarian get poisoned ) or the normandy has supplies for like years this could come to a bad outcome.

So yeah, thank you for that - instead of letting my friends die an honorable death in fight for earth I know they gonna suffer a slow starving death on a random planet where no one even notices ...

...really makes me all warm and fuzzy inside...

You remember me talking about "me making peace with the ends we are given" at the begin of the threat... well ...screw that.. .
