Hi to all BW.
Today I finally finished the ME 3. The game was perfect – lot of emotion, very good main story, made Shepard more human than some super hero, which always win without doubts for mission.
[color=#333333">But I am very disappointed with ending. After ME 1 &]forced [/color]me to think about and it was very controversial.
In fact the end scourged me. The whole ME universe revolved around a Shepard (and Reapers, of course). Now Shepard is dead (or maybe survived on nearly destroyed Citadel) and all what he/she fight for was for nothing. Only small spark of hope remains in crashed Normandy crew and completely separated worlds in Galaxy, which is nearly destroyed by Reapers invasion. And some end scene which tells me: Maybe there is another story about Shepard don’t satisfied me.
Maybe I am outside the mainstream and don’t follow modern trends of art (movies, literature, theatre and more) where the “happy end” is totally out and the evil must win or the self-sacrifice is only solution to save everything (or made good to win).
I think Shepard and I/we deserve happy end for all who survive the story of ME 1, 2 & 3.
With this your approach to the ME (and for DA 2) I am not sure that I will ever buy another game from BW (like DA 3). I am using playing games for relax. Not for shocking, thinking about human being or induce depression. For that I can use news in TV.
I think you killed ME universe, for me totally. I am no more interested in buying new books, games, apps and more about ME, because I know your end and when I know there is not direct future of the world I don’t see any reason to examine it more.
