I
hate the endings, I am holding the line, But I also feel there is a serious
lack of discussion about the parts of the game we (the collective ME3 Players)
Liked/Loved. While we see Bioware as this monolithic entity, It is made of
people, and the Rank and File guys over at Bioware are certainly stressed, and
being stressed from both us and the guys at the top, So let’s tell them, and
each other; What we do like in the game and why. Ending discussion/remarks
should be left to the bottom of your post if you need to put it in. I’ll start:
I
loved the scene where Mordin died; it was in my opinion, the absolute high
point of the game. The lead-up as
perfect, the conversations on the Normandy (lol dalatrass) , the chance for
betrayal, so much to consider. An issue that has spanned the mass effect
series. Just before the scene, I fought 4 brutes at once, as I desperately fought
to activate the Pillars to summon the thresher-maw. And then I see Mordin
again, and he explains why it has to be him, why “someone else might have
gotten it wrong” I cried when he died. It was perfect, I was overjoyed the
Krogan were free of the genophage, but the character I personally identified
with most was dead, I felt like I had been skewered by a javelin. Very few
times have I felt such a strong reaction to a character and their life/death in
gaming. Perfect.
Now you!
I WILL HOLD THE LINE
Mass Effect 3, The stuff we LIKED.
