Congrats! Any tips on skilling the adepts?
My Asari Adept...
Stasis: 3
Warp: 6 (Detonate, Expose, Recharge Speed)
Throw: 6 (Force, Detonate, Force & Damage)
Asari Justicar: 5 (Damage & Capacity, Power Damage)
Fitness: 6 (Durability, Shield Recharge, Fitness Expert)
Stasis:
Stasis bubble is a great skill. But unless you are farming cerberus it really isn't ideal to have level 6 stasis. Level 3 Stasis can still hold a phantom long enough for you to warp, throw, throw and kill it. But for the sake of dealing with geth and reapers you probably wanna give up the bubble.
Warp:
I went for bio explosions, +power damage, and recharge speed. When you have to throw 10 warps at a brute/banshee/atlas you are going to want as many explosions ASAP. Warp really slows you down considering your throw CD is around 1.2-5 secs.. can't remember.
Throw:
Same as above went for bio explosions and +damage. I choose damage over recharge speed for level 6 because ~1.4s to ~1.1 seconds doesn't really matter in comparison to the extra damage you get. (I kill a husk with one throw, a cannibal with 2)
Asari Justicar:
Self explanitory.. you are there for biotic skills. Shooting comes second..
Fitness:
I choose +HP & shields. Lots of people skip this. I find it extremely important to max out fitness on any character. Especially if you are going to be doing gold.
Weapon of choice:
On the demo I use to snipe with asari adept. Stasis bubble + Viper = fish in a barrel really.. Every shot is a head shot. This only really worked for Cerberus. Now that we have reapers and geth, you rely heavy on your powers. I carry only a phalanx, +ammo, +scope. The barrel attachment barely adds anything. Much better to have added accuracy because I tend to shoot from the hip when I spam my skills. +200% Power speeds is really important.
Feel free to ask questions.. glad to help..

Nice one! I always end up playing with randoms and it so frustrating - I can barely do silver with randoms! The amount of times I have seen everyone die on round 10 is driving me mad!

Round 10 can be quite tricky sometimes... But I feel you.. why not add the people you play with an go from there? Or look for BSN threads/groups to help your cause. If you are from AUS/NZ/SEA area.. you should check out our group

It's the ingame comboes (Biotic, Tech and Fire explosions) that cause thing to go smoother if you properly apply them.

Thanks for the extensive explanation! In the demo I built myself an Asari Adept-Sniper as well, but against reapers, that just doesn't cut it anymore.
You're welcome, hope it helps.

Leveling up your character is quite fun as well.. 2 bronze games takes about 40 mins.. gets you to around level 8 ish.. 4-5 silver games gets you to around 17... then gold... gives you a good feel for the character as well.
I can't stress not carry anything more then a pistol. Anything other then a phalanx is bad imo.. but that is just my opinion.. If you went level 6 in Asari Justicar you can carry a Carniflex... with no penalty.. but the trade off is stasis/fitness.. not worth it..

Did this yesterday with some others.
Human sentinel
Drell adept
Asari Adept
Human Infiltrator
Just make sure your team can set up biotic explosions when fighting reapers and as long as you work together its easy.

Here's a funny game for you Richard0600

1 drell adept, 1 asari adept, 1 krogan sentinel and 1 salarian infiltrator. The last wave was funny as hell. Squiddy managed to revive himself the last minute in the extraction zone while I accidentally ran out of the zone, two were already stabbed by banshee. Lots of running around in that game

4 engineers can curbstomp ANYTHING. Try 4 drones and tech explosions left and right. Shields? Barriers? Armor? Paleeeeease.
So really, so what?
Drones aren't as useful in Gold, since they can't take as much punishment as in bronze or silver. I would recommend Decoy over drones in Gold. Salarian Engineer can also deal with all types of protection (granted Energy Drain is less powerful than overload, but the fact that it drains shields and barriers can save your life). The downside is that it takes practice to place the decoy correctly).

Ahhh wish I could play, quite busy atm.. but I saw this posted in the group. Wave 9-11 are really chaotic. By the time you finish dealing with one banshee.. there is usually another banshee and 2 brutes on top of you.

I can't play engineer at all on gold... quite useless at it in fact. I die A LOT..

And honestly, I don't think anything needs to be nerfed. Things just need to be buffed, like the Drell Vanguard and Krogans. Nerfing classes won't make the other ones usable; it'll just cause people to cry for the next "best" classes to be nerfed.

I don't get why some people see the Asari Adept as overpowered. It's one of the best classes against the Reapers, hence its high usage-- Reapers are a huge threat to most teams. However, the Geth are a different story. It can do some damage to them, but really another class could easily do more. The damage from Biotic Explosions is negligible against Geth Primes compared to Cloaked headshots from an Infiltrator. And good luck performing a Biotic Explosion against Hunters.

I agree.. I never used my adept against geth. Infiltrator/Engineer/Sentinel are much better equipped at handling geth. Where as Vanguards/Adepts/Infiltrators dominate Cerberus...
As most of you have mentioned.. many classes can use a boost. To make them more appealing to users.. I've noticed many use the example of drell vanguard. I think a simple hp/shield boost would do wonders to that class.. but that is just my opinion..
I also feel as though we can benefit from a "Diamond" difficulty.. As my equipment gets better and I'm sure many of you agree with me. Gold just does not have the same amount of difficulty as it use to. Cerberus/Geth on gold can get quite tedious and boring. Reapers have speed and can quickly overwhelm you. That's what makes them interesting.. but their downfall are their vulnerability to biotic explosions.

I am hoping for objective based MP missions..
Storming a base/space station/dreadnought...
Multiple timed objectives e.g. defusing 2 bombs at the same time. (splitting your team in two)
Survival mode.. needs more factions.. mercenary/rachni
Mini-Boss fights...
damn.. I'm just a bag of ideas maybe Bioware should hire me!

Adepts of any flavour are great, human sentinels(one of the best classes) are fantastic.
Infiltrators and soldiers just need to pack heavy guns like the widows, claymore and geth plasma shotgun. Human Infiltrator is probably the strongest out of the weapon oriented classes.
Engineers will want cryo ammo(or play a quarian) and incinerate specced to do more damage against chilled targets, otherwise incinerate's damage is way too low.
Human vanguards are fine as long as they pay attention from which direction they are charging. The other two vanguards need another biotic who can setup detonations for them to trigger in order to be more effective though.
tldr; any class can be an asset with the right skillset, equipment and weapons.

Beaten reaper gold easily often enough. In the end nearly any character combination will work as long as you have sufficient armor busting capabilities, be it in weapon form or abilities.

Salarian Infiltrator would like a word with you, Human. ED > Cryo or sticky grenade.

Not really, Cryo is better. ED is a great ability but doesnt offer much against reapers.HaesoME3 wrote...

Human infiltrator with cloak for free ability, cryo specced for armor damage and geth plasma shotgun is one of the best if not THE best class to bring, since they two shot brutes even on gold.
