I'm fairly certain he's not stupid enough to hype up a multiplayer or Omega DLC considering the current climate.

But then I was also fairly certain ME3 would have a satisfying conclusion, so who knows?

Go read his twitter feed. He hypes up multiplayer almost daily.

Just not Liara's blood. Her plot armour's too high for that.

Looking at their every tweet to find some hidden meaning really isn't going to turn something up. All this means is that they are working on something, and he thinks people will love it.

What, in the same way people loved the ending? Image IPB

I really don't think this is meaningless.

Sure, it's okay to be skeptical, but let's try and refrain from completely assuming BioWare doesn't give a sh!t until we know what they've got coming.

If the ending isn't corrected/edited/extrapolated upon, then we'll know they don't care.

Personally, I would like to think they're addressing our concerns.

You can keep your Omega DLC and whatever other crap is about to be released. I´d rather buy toiletpaper than support this ending by buying anything that doesnt fix this crappy ending. I am done with you Bioware.

Broken Relay. Nice.

Yeah, the Fallout 3 reference is a nice touch.  I doubt they'll name it that but it's pretty fitting.

Well played.  :)

What gets me is why didn't the people making the game, not just the directors, notice something was amiss? Surely one of them must have stopped and said, "hold on guys, there's no way fans will like what we're doing with the ending."

They're called yes men, surely you must see people like that in real life.  Normally in the presence of "important" people, they never let that person think for a second he's wrong.

I can't imagine what these "cryptic" tweets we are seeing from BioWare people could be about if it's NOT the ending issue.

Consider for a minute here guys, that fans have been saying loudly and clearly that they don't trust BioWare staff right now because of the way the quotes from Gamble/Hudson look in comparison to the end of the game. So why would BioWare risk making those people EVEN ANGRIER by tweeting vague stuff today that they know is actively being interpreted by fans as ending-related, and then later release non-ending related content and say the tweets were about that content?

I think what he is saying is they are working hard on coming up with some kind of solution to this problem and the "worth it part" is referring to how he'll feel when more people are happy. And this after they have already made a lot of people very happy with ME3.

They are working late and pushing themselves and staying relatively humble in public, and I applaud them for it. And for what it's worth I also really hope whatever comes out of this is "worth it" just like he says.

There is a very good chance it is just a stalling tactic. They want to lower tempers so they can get as many sales as possible.

I feel like something that was posted in the PR thread fits here...

atghunter wrote...

So how do you resolve empathy for
overworked and disappointed employees vs. a company you feel delivered an inferior/defective product? Simple. You can do both. Feel empathy for the workers, but continue to demand accountability from the
corporation. As I’ve mentioned previously, at this point, this isn’t a struggle with the writers. And in the end, to be blunt, those hard-working, personable emplotees will do what the corporate entity ultimately decides. If EA instructs the writers and developers to write an ending with pink ponies and chocolate bars falling from the sky, that’s what will happen.

Keep up the pressure, you can still feel bad for the employees, but the company is responsible in the end.

Hold the Line, Never Forget

I've wondered this as well. I just don't see how a team that made such an otherwise great game could possibly miss something so obvious.

What he is saying is that they worked late last night. That is the only thing we can take for granted from that tweet. The rest ist just an interpretation.

Have you ever watched the Behind the Scenes of the Star Wars prequels?  Redlettermedia points it out in striking detail in his reviews of those movies.

You will get more "information" there than you will here. Must easier for somebody to send off a tweet while buying a Starbucks than to navigate the forums on their iPhone.
