I haven't seen anyone "ranting" yet. If you're trying to be clever, it's coming out as rude. Everyone holding the line has been (for the most part) supportive of each other and kind, but firm, when speaking to or of devs. Please don't be rude to those who have a different opinion.

I have a feeling what they're working on now are planned DLC's. If they choose to release anything new it should be the result of a lot of planning and time so they don't botch it again. Don't expect it soon.

A lot of ordinary pre-ending DLC will come out before an ending change.

Why would it be 'Omega' DLC? Aria is with the pirate fleet, which is, by the way, over Earth. Plus, that was what she was going to use to take back Omega. Not.

I just looked up what EAs end of Q4 is and it is March 31st.  This means that there was no way in hell that EA was going to allow one of their biggest releases of the year slip out of the fiscal year.  Cause you have to rember the game was already delayed once from earlier in the year.  This would explain why this is not the real ending and why we keep getting cryptic messages.  So bioware created a filler ending so they could say their game ended to EA, but actually continueing making the real ending without delaying the game, and contriving this experiment as a result.  This also adds another reason why they can't say it is not the real ending because they are not going to say our bosses froced us to release an incomplete game and can spin it as an experiment.

Considering the hypothetical case where this was all intentional and they had ending DLC coming, I doubt working late nights would reject this reality. As it stands right now, they would probably have to make significant changes to anything they were planning to make sure it is as good as it could be. They probably anticipated some negative reaction to the ending, but I doubt they thought it would be of this magnitude. Now they have to make changes to make sure it is addressing the issues that have been brought up.

I'm not making a statement on the reality of ending DLC. This statement doesn't mean it wasn't planned in the first place though. They just might think it's not good enough now.
