Have anyone tried the game on a 8600M GT DDR3,2.2GHz C2D and 2-3GB RAM? What settings and how many frames per second?



I really want to know whether mine runs the game or not.

I know, my laptop specs suck. But I was able to play ME in 1024x768 with graphics set on High and GTAIV in low resolution with mid graphics. All I want to know is if anyone's playing in these specs and if they're able to play this game on low resolution/low graphic settings with no probs...

Both of you should be able too play at low-med settings (assuming I am reading your video cards right, that is the main sticking point here.)

yup got the exact same setup, and nope you can't play it, unless you enjoy powerpoint presentations.  I'll be returning the game tomorrow as it doesn't fulfil the specifications on the side of the box

the 9200 m gs is a low class graphic card, the 8600 m gt is better.

Alright, I'm not very computer-savvy but I know I have an incredibly wimpy graphics card. Is this feasible?

I don't have 1280x800, so I did it at 1280x1024 at highest graphics and highest texture, no frame buffer, no AA and running around Ostagar I got 22-25FPS via FRAPS.

I believe you'll get around that same, probably better since you have a nice processor and that res is a bit higher than you want.  My card is just merely OC'd of your card from what I've heard.  You should be okay!

and like I've said, 22frames is NOT choppy.. I don't find I see any hiccups in this game at that frame rate when mine dips into like 18.  Very playable.
