So, a polite and civiliced protest from a costumer who hasen't recived the product he paid for is childish and phatetic?

its not the protest thats childish, although most of them are typed in a childish manner.

its the subject of the protest thats childish.

A VIDEO GAME ENDING ?

in fact it goes past childish, its bordering on care in the community issues.

Worse excuses have been use to start real world wars.

We don't fight for the ilusion of a game, we fight for the ideals and hopes it brings to us.

It's worth our time.

did you just use assassinating the arch duke ferdinand and the invasion of poland in comparison to a video game ending ????

i want to speak to your parents...NOW !

REAL WORLD WARS as in wars that happened between other countries. Not real World Wars in referance to WWI and WWII. You read what you wanted to read and misunderstood.

Well if it doesn't then they'll probably won't sell alot of DLC's for ME3 and might alienate a decent amount of loyal fans.

"If".

"If" in my eyes means 'If the fans knew what was in store, (that there will be a continuation on ME3?), They wouldn't have disliked the ending so much'.

-Only problem is "the fans" dont. The fans havent been told jack. The fans are angry. The fans demand to know what is going on. The fans paid. The fans are now cancelling their TOR accounts, returning their games, and lobbying against Bio.

What in the name of everything is it thats so secret that it needs to cost Bioware this much credibility, this much money, this many fans, to be worth it? Is there even such a thing?

Right now Im thinking "No" because its not the first time they have said they "listened" and we got "nothing".

Amusing however that I didnt hear of a revision being completed yet or even begun. I havent heard of any authors or members of staff being asked to look it over. I havent seen any Del Rey news about this "revision".

But dont worry. They "listened". They arent going to forget you.

And you'd be in a position the "hear" of this... how exactly?  Revising an author's work probably involves negotiations, agents, contracts... stuff like that.  I somehow doubt that you're getting Cc'd on internal memos....

The bottom line, for all to remember, is that *if* changes happen, they will come more slowly than you'd like.  Any revision, to the game or its associated media, will take a long time.

Yes but what He's saying is 'if' the fans knew there was DLC amending the so called 'problems' with the ending, they wouldn't be angry.

*sigh* Only elven days since the game came out in North America. DLCs aren't made in eleven days, unless they suck big time. Well written endings and rewriting an entire section of a game doesn't happen in eleven days either.

Two things.

First, you're a retard.

Second, you don't know how to properly use the word 'infer'

Any point you think you have is moot.

-Do you really want me to dig out the thread of more or less implict direct promises that Casey made to us in interviews?

The credibility of Bioware is reaching "null". The only two people I have confidence in right now are the two head honcho's. And the only reason they have it is because I have been following their company for more than a decade.

I'm not saying a DLC would be written made and published in 11 days, but if some of these rumours are true that BW released the game early because of a script leak, then we could, not saying we will, receive a continuation DLC.

As other people have mentioned, although my signature implies that I want the endings to be changed completely (And I would like that, more so than anything else) I would still be satisfied with closure to the current endings, through either text-based epilogue slides, a DLC, or a sequel set after Mass Effect 3. I just want something to be done to improve them, even if it only expands upon what's already there.

Fans can. That is their right, but Bioware can also maintain the right to try and limit all leaks as possible in case of anything else that may be in the works...or not. It's their choice. As for me, I believe in being patient and seeing what happens.

Being patient is the only thing we can do at the moment.

But we can choose our attitude and how we handle it. Do we boycott all things made by Bioware, do we give honest, constructive feedback here on the forums while remaining civil? Do we go to the FTC and demand a rewritten ending? These are things we as individual consumers can choose.

-Sorry. That train came and went. If we just let them get away with this they will bury it, just like they buried DA2 and Deception.

They have had plenty of warnings and chances. They choose to ignore them. At own risk.

I would want it changed, but I would be happy if they at least just added more to the current ending.

Quote from another thread that I just had to put here:

"I mean, how can someone be happy with an ending solely put in because you strong armed them to? It's like a guy pointing a gun at a girl and asking her if she loves him...."

I dont care if they reveal themselves. I want to see hard evidence before I put an iota of trust in them.

And that's entirely your choice. Individual consumerism is a wonderful thing.
