The very most you can expect as Mr. Hudson just inferred in his address is there will be some additional content that will expand further on post war events, or maybe put some more closure on how the game ended, which I think is great, but the endings themselves will not change, so stop demanding it. I see this childish behavior a lot and it is quite pathetic. If you didn't like the endings, thats fine and all but stop cluttering the forums with ridiculous demands and over the top bandwagon whining and nagging.
I say this now because something tells me that even after they flesh out some DLC you guys will still be complaining, and guess what? At that point, no one will listen to you anymore. Fair warning here.
Thank GOD you warned us!
And just in time. I was about to spend my lifesavings building a time machine to prevent my parents from meeting so I wouldn't be born, and thus would never have to experience this agony.
OHHHHH. OOHHHHHHH NOOOOO. ME 3 is awful. My life is ruined.
Actually no.
I, like most of the members of BSN who loathe the ME 3 endings am not a child begging a parent figure for one more sweet.
I am a smart consumer who NEVER preorders and rarely buys DLC. But I made an exception because its Bioware, and I believed many of the promises made by Casey Hudson and the Bioware team.
The fact is that the product I PAYED for, was in fact not what I was given is a legitiment complaint. I, as a consumer have the right to express my opinion and try to seek a form of restitution for what I am owed.
Further more you are clearly unable to understand the customer and producer relationship. As long as I give Bioware my money, I don't owe them a goddamn thing. I could if I was a lesser person, take the game, play it, love it and still be well within my rights to trash the ever longing hell out of it.
It would be a stupid and immature thing to do, but once money changes hands, I don't owe BW a thing and they don't owe me anything either.
But doesn't that mean they don't owe me an ending?
No. Because again, I bought this game on good faith with the express understanding that the promises made by the company would be fulfilled. They were not. And since they still have my money, Bioware now owes me what I paid for.

Maybe you should read this and try and comprehend the implications of what you guys are asking for. Then you'll understand why it is nonsensical.

There was an ending to the game, it was exactly what you saw. Stop trying to pretend othewise, just because you don't want to accept it doesn't change that. "Fixing" or "changing" the ending is the single worst idea I can imagine. I hope to God bioware doesn't cave into this inane protest. If you want closure, I have no problem with an expansion or DLC that expands on what we experienced already. And if you like many other people on these forums have made up their minds about completely disassociating themselves from bioware, then get off the forums.

BW reveal SP endgame expansion & MP class/race expansion DLC by 5pm Tuesday 20th March EST.
Well, we have seen that one screen of possible multiplayer DLC, but whether it's legit or not, I couldn't say.

I don't think I ever said i will leave Bioware over this. I did say i am a smart consumer. I will keep an open mind and not readily trust Bioware for a long time.
And just so you know, i did read that article, days ago.
I pulled an excerpt for us.
Imagine we lived in a world where artists regularly changed their art based on audience demands. Imagine Monet repainting Water Lilies in black and white because people objected to color. Imagine Salman Rushdie trashing The Satanic Verses because people objected to its implications. The very idea of allowing any work of art to be changed, edited, reshaped, reworked, deleted, or destroyed because someone, somewhere, didn't like it would render all art meaningless. Art is the creative expression of an artist or a group of artists. It's not a free-for-all exercise in democratic rights.
Laura (who wrote the article) writes this idea from the perspective of history and specifically a person who appreciates art. That's fine. But it ignores the very real point that not all art is good. Plenty of artists have pieces that suck. Some suck so badly the artists themselves destroy them.
Art is also not free from all forms of criticism simply because it is art.
Lastly I would point out that we are not demanding changes from the perspective of a simple viewer of art. We are the consumer who bought this art.
Let me highlight the difference.
Imagine Monet repainting Water Lilies in black and white because people objected to color.
If I was just walking through a museum and said that, I would be a moron. BUT if I was the man who commisioned Monet to make those Lillies and I told him to keep them black and white, and he assured me he would, then because of his artistic judgement he decided to go another direction.
This is not ok. I paid him for a specific thing. He assured me I'd get it. His opinion as an artist is irrelevant.

i dont mean to sound ignorant but the people who over exagerate the endings make it sound like they have no lives at all
its like seriously 10 minutes bothered them that much to where its like i wouldnt be shocked if someone go's out and do something stupid because they didnt get what they wanted
I see the same thing on every game forum really, its just theres a more rabid few here that have been allowed to go too far.
i seriously doubt anyone outside the internet ever sees them act like this.
my generation is the cause, was just so easy to let the kids onto the net and leave them to it.
before the internet they were just too scared to vent into peoples faces about daft things due to the reaction a real life discussion would cause.
but along came E-power and anonymity...look what it did.
Ok, let me spell it out for you guys.
The endings are like taking an amazingly beautiful woman out for a very nice dinner date, the night is going fantastic. And then at the last moment when you drop her off at her house and she is getting out of the car she suddenly spews explosive diarrhea all over you and your car.
What are you going to remember? The date or the diarrhea?
How about both,? diarrhea and the date = 2 girls 3 boys 1 ceramic plate thing...

I like. If people want nothing to do with bioware, then they have no business being where they claim to be boycotting or disassociating with. Unless they secretly love the game or products, and thereby are raving for the sake of raving.

Its simple Bioware changes it or looses a great chunk of its Fanbase who simply will not buy future games. They have a choice and we all know that what they choose will trainwreck them, i couldnt care less if this happens, they trainwreck us we do them as simple as it can get.
