Wouldn't it be better if all the races didn't bother to develop spaceflight and mass relay technology?

And doesn't that mean one of the lessons of the Mass Effect Universe is that "don't explore the vast unknown, just stay tight in your comfortable corner of space?"

I'm sure the Yahg are counting their lucky stars that they are only at 20/21st century levels of technology!
