The only time I vote to kick is if one out of four players refuses to ready up and makes everyone wait for about five minutes before doing anything. Like, what the hell are these people doing making everyone wait? Are they in the bathroom? Talking to their cat? What?

"Time is credits". Please get IRL out of the way before joining a game, don't make us wait on you or we will kick you. If IRL does happen to interrupt later on, then please leave the team if you're in lobby.

What's also ridiculous is that most people try to go for the most kills instead of working together to complete the entire 11 waves. They just go off and kill everything that moves and get in your way, steal your kills. Anything to get the highest score. Frankly the MP was poorly implemented. There should be a way to force people to work together in a co-op if that's the goal of the thing. As it stand it looks more like CoD than anything else where everyone is out for themselves.

agree on that to 100& i dont se so many ppl that healps eachothers to win..but i seen some great team and it makes it way more fun when ppl play as a team...

yup, I was in a match today where all they did was complain about their kills getting stolen. I got 50 assists in that match and that's fine. those matches were like butter. the way I look at it is if you're getting a ton of assists you're doing it right. The hard enemies weren't created to be taken down by one person.

I got kicked out of another match because of a low kill count. they weren't working together were super aggro. and were all lone wolf on what I think is one of the hardest maps (reactor) I was trying to stick with people because the asari doesn't have a lot of shields so you need to stay behind cover and you need to have smaller guns because you're trying to use your powers in assist positions. stasis the  stasisable... but I ended up running around trying to stay with the action and kept getting into trouble. I eneded up going down a lot going after them to try and get them back up. Then they were pissed that they didn't make it to the end so blamed it on me.

I was like whatever, get me out of your type A aggro bubble. LOL. there are a lot of cool people out there too though. the really aggro players are far lesser in numbers than the cool players and low levels are probably better off not putting up with the abuse they're likely to get via mic from these players anyway. It's not hard to get a game in bronze. I've been in a lot of bronze matches and I havent' seen anyone get kicked out of one except for when they take ten minutes to get ready. I think it is far rarer than common for low levels out of bronze.

Only reason to kick on Bronze is repeatedly missing extraction, or if you've been hearing him (never her, oddly) over the mic and they're ****s, or they havent readied up and it's taking way too long. Aside from those 3 reasons, I never vote to kick in Bronze.

However, I am the vanguard of the kicking process in Silver/Gold. Come at me, low level bros. My vote is always the first that puts you on check since there's no excuse on Silver/Gold if you've progressed as intended.

Why? Extraction doesn't really give you that much in the final bonus for the individual. if it's a partial extraction it's just about the same as full as far as your pocket book goes and even if you don't get extraction at all you've still gotten the majority of hte money just by finishing level 10.  If they get thru level 10 imo, all is well.

I'm still trying to figure this one out. Went into a Silver game, host had it on Geth. So I switch to my level 17 Quarian Infiltrator, N7 level is in the low 80s and I also have a mic. Two people vote to kick, so I'm like fine... I switch to my level 20 Human Adept, and then somehow it's ok? Really?

they're stupid. QI is made for Geth on high levels.... I think I'd have just left that round cause they obviously don't know what they're doing. LOL

I only kick people if they're taking too long to get ready. Even if they're low leveled I'll play with them. At the very least, they can take some bullets for me. I can only hope they know what they're doing.

What on earth does that achieve?

There's people out there who bought the game, Leisure gamers, might not play a lot but just want to come on and relax, then someone like you starts screaming down the mic "you suck man" "your rubbish". Who are you trying to impress seriously?

Cool biased assumptions and ad homs, bros. I guess you guys didn't understand the content of my post, but whatever.

I denegrate others because it relieves frustration. I shouldn't have to think that this would come as a surprise to anyone, but that's how things go when dealing with children I guess. Do I need to explain the mechanism behind frustration -> antagonism -> good feelings as well, or can you manage figure it out on your own?

I know it's a big request! :innocent:

I'm not fan of kicking people especially on Bronze because seriously, where they could play the multiplayer then?

On silver I don't mind players that have low levels. But when I play on Gold difficulty I would like to get players that know what they are doing and they don't play MP for first time.

To be fair, most people would kick a level 4 character from silver.  I probably would.

I kick engineers peroid. Any level, any difficulty.

Why? Engineer is a great addition to many squads.

This.

Happens. People tend to screen people by their character level, not N7 rank.

My level 3 engineer had more score than the level 20s in silver. Yet they wanted to kick me but host started it.

You can't really stop character screening with a vote system like that. Luckily, you need 3 votes to kick.

N7 rank means nothing.

All it tells you is how much that person has been playing, not if they are good or follow objectives and whatnot.

I see no reason to boot anyone from a bronze match unless they are simply taking too long to ready up.

First instance happened I joined a bronze game earlier today fora few easy credits to tip me over 60k and a guy playing as a level 4 engineer rocks up.  His N7 rating was also 4 and the other two people in the lobby instantly go for the votekick.

WTF?  If he can't play bronze where the hell else is he going to go??

Instance 2 happened about an hour later when I joined a silver game and much the same thing happened.  In all fairness, most of the sub-50s you see in silver are probably just there because they left the search filters wide open.  Anyway, level 2 soldier shouldn't really be playing silver so I joined my teammates here and votekicked him.

The two teammates in question then went on to die more times than they actually killed anything and completely ignore the objectives.

Again, what the hell?

Consult Wheaton's Law please

yeah i had that happen after the  silver win  they kicked a low be out after the game was over and then they tried to kick me for no apparent reason

Got almost instantly kicked out of gold lobby. With 20 lvl asari adept, N7 rating +100. And no, I didn't carry two weapons, or widow. :P

I entered a silver lobby with my lvl 10 Drell Adept. I get two votes, so I change to my lvl 18 Quarian Infiltrator. 5 seconds after the switch, I get the final vote to get kicked. I had the second highest N7 rank.

Voting system needs tweeking. This is rediculous.

1) That is ridiculous, honestly. It's just elitists thinking they have some sort of entitlement to overpower content & never play with the newer players.

2) This however, is accurate. I was in Silver earlier, performing the Goliath Mission. A 1/1 Soldier joins. Sorry but, insta-kicked.

3) Be aware that N7 Rating/Level along doesn't equate to ACTUAL skill :3.

Yup. I played with a random that had a N7 level that was over 200 but he played like a noob and died repeatedly the first three rounds on the easiest map - firebase white - then he proceeded to just stand there and not do anything but occasionally run away to find a new spot to hide when threatened..

Oh and this was AFTER he tried to kick out a level 18-ish Asari Adept (don't remember their N7) for some reason. I was playing with a human adept who had a mic and he didn't vote for the asari and I know I didn't vote for the asari so it had to been the high leveled N7 dude that played like a noob - when he actually did play at all.

BUT with that said, I think the host of the game should have a greater word over kicking peeps. If a host wants someone gone, they should be able to just kick them without a vote. I've been chased out of my own lobby more then a few times because the other peeps in the party wouldn't vote to kick a level 1 character out of silver. Total level 1 too, both starter guns and level 1 N7. Come on now, VOTE THEM OUT.

I would've  kicked you too, only because of the atrocious sound of Reave.  After switching, maybe people just didn't notice you changed your class.
