Alright, so here's how it goes.

I'm trying to unlock all of the specializations I can on my current character so I'll have them for the future. I'd like to get as many of them as I can for free, and the only ones I have left are Bard and Spirithealer. Problem is, Leliana and Wynne are either: a) Not acting right according to their scripts; B) just being coy about the whole thing.

When I attempt to speak to Leliana about anything besides her leaving, I only get the "Nothing. Nevermind." option. When I speak with Wynne, I get roughly the same thing. This is extra troubling with Wynne because I can't get to her side-quest either.

Both Wynne and Leliana are around 50-60 approval rating. Did I advance too quickly with them or something? Story-wise, the Lands-meet is just about to begin and I've rescued [that lady]* from Howe's estate.

Anyone else have this problem?

*Some people might consider it a spoiler. Just being safe.

Wynne doesn't offer it.

You can get the spec for free by saving, then buying the book, then reloading your save.

Some people don't want to cheat.

Leliana will only give you bard if you make efforts in the very beginning to get her personal quest, that's the only way, otherwise she'll be under the impression you don't want to know about bards whatnot. Stupid, yes but meh. Wynne does not unlock spirit healer, though you'd think she would, you get it from wonders of thedas in denerim.

Huh. The Prima Strategy guide says you can unlock it through Wynne, but that wouldn't be the first time it's been wrong.

I kind of figured I had missed the boat on the whole Leliana thing. Meh. I'll just get it next time.

Thanks for the quick replies, everyone.

Bard can be unlocked by level 7 anyways.

And there is a reason why Wynne doesn't teach it.
