Though all I really care about is not having Shepard just casually accept what the genocidal reaper controlling space brat tells him like it's all good.

Basically. Like Anderson said, 'There's always another way..."

Concise and to-the-point. I like. Couple of the options weren't quite what I was looking for, but that's what the comments section is for, right? :-)

Good polls, great way to feel the pulse of the overall community, without having to sift through piles of contradictory posts.

I'm not ashamed to admit it, I want the mega-happy ending (option). The ending of a video game is your reward for playing. The better you play the better the ending. If BioWare wants to make it only available to players who max out their reputation/EMS and play on insanity mode, fine, so long as the ending still exists for us.

By the way, if you think of anymore polls, be sure to update this. ;)

Boy I really hope this isn't PR spin  because the vast majority of people seem to want the same ending I want.

Please please continue to hold the line and don't use any bioware or Ea products so that they will have to pay attention to these polls.  Don't let up don't you see not only are we fighting to try and get them to make good on their words about the ending but this could change the way game companies interact with buyers.  Unlike movies and books games companies(if they are not to proud)can work with their customers so to produce products that leave people happy. DLC means that unlike movies endings people don't enjoy can be fixed with out being replaced and there can be a product that will make everyone happy.

I don't trust bioware yet and I will not until they fix the ending and give us more options but if we hold the line they will have to listen to these polls.  One that I hope they pay attention to is lowering EMS for the endings.  Remeber Bioware 10% of the country doesn't have highspeed and yet they pay the same price for the games. While we can take our computers or consoles to a friend's house to download new missions we can't do that every day to play multiplayer. Please listen and let everyone who pays for the game get all the endings.

Hold the line people as long as it takes.

Question 10 reminds me of Dragon Age: Origins if you lived; that was one of the things I liked about that ending.  The closure was at your own pace and through you choosing the dialogue with the characters you speak to, and then maybe since ME3 is more about cutscenes than DA:O they could wrap it up with a finale cutscene or something similar to ME1's ending where you see your Shepard bathed in a blue (Paragon) or red (Renegade) light, dead or not.  It's not too exaggerated to think that it could be Shepard's spirit watching over everyone if he/she died.

This.

I'm sad to say that I really have just lost all of my faith and trust in Bioware. I want to believe that they're taking our suggestions seriously and actually formulating a plan to make the ending actually make sense, while providing choice and hopefully at least one happy ending... i find myself running low trust. I'll hold the line, but I'm also trying not to get my hopes up. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice?

I voted. :)

I am dissatisfied with the ending, and while I won't rage over it, I do hope for something new one day.

Hate to burst your bubble but even on a New Game+ & insanity playthrough with max EMS the endings are still depressing as hell.

Sure it's escapism, but I wanted the happy heroic ending too. I don't play games to face depressing reality, I can turn on the news or go outside for that.

I think the ammount of spin we have been getting proves that while Bioware thniks they are artist and have a right to lie to us and don't want to change the ending they know that if this drags on they will have to.  That is why they are pulling every PR trick in the book to stall us and hoping we run out of steam of start fighting eachother.  The fact is they are now in business with three groups who don't want to see the brand dammaged EA,investors, and now a major Hollywood studio. All of these people will lose money if Bioware loses fan and ME3 get a reputation for being a bad game and Bioware becomes known for lying to people so if this drags on they will all put pressure on Bioware to do what it takes to get us back.  I think we have a 90% of getting what we want if we stick together, don't fight eachother, and don't touch any EA or Bioware products.  it may take a few months but I am sure we can win if we don't defeat ourselves.

Hold the line for as long as it takes people.

sad thing is I highly doubt the rEApers would commit resources to such a desired ending.

It's their IP, karma and all that noise.
