I'll be derided as an 'innocent child', but still, I also voted for the mega happy ending.

I guess I am just a kid too because I don't really enjoy depressing endings in my games.  It's one thing in film where I am there to see a story completely made by someone else but it is much more depressing in a game where I have been controlling and shaping the character for three games.  I just feel like I put a lot of work into this series for nothing.

Hold the line for as long as it takes people.

Voted on most of the polls, but was disappointed by how many of the polling questions ignore the indoctrination theory (which is the highest rated response on Q15).

For example, Q4 needs to have a "Keep the original star child scene, but explain that it was only an indoctrination attempt after the player makes his choice."

I think it was clear that he wanted it addressed in only one place, to make sure that it wouldn't overwhelm the other options elsewhere since they're all single choice questions.

Very good poll.

Great poll. I'm on the side that "everybody/most people live" doesn't have to be all sickeningly happy. We've paid a high cost in human/ crew lives already- but ME games always had a glimmer of hope- if you do everything right you can walk away with the fewest deaths possible. That is what I want.

I seem to be in the minority in thinking it is fine if the mass relays are destroyed. There has to be some terrible cost for wiping out the reapers, else why would the reapers allow such a flaw in their plan to exist with the citadel?

I'm surprised so many people want to bypass starchild. While I didn't enjoy what happened after, there is nothing I would enjoy more than to tell that little brat to ****** off, this is our galaxy and we'll do things our way.

@OP: I hate to be a "negative nanny" but I wish more thought had been put into the questions and potential answers.

For example I would answer questions totally different if the "fix" was to assume the indoctrination theory and go from there as opposed to tweaking the RGB "endings" in the game.

With the indoctrination theory I prefer to keep everything pretty much as-is. If there is no indoctrination theory DLC then bypassing the catalyst all together or at least calling the catalyst on his BS would be something I would desire [plus a complete epilogue / funeral for Shep / etc.]

in regards to q14 id much rather see several options based on how youve played the last 3 games

Super ending, Good ending, Mediocre ending, Bad ending.

Paragon shep if played correctly should be hailed as a hero and get his disney ending
Renegade Shep should be feared and respected,
Idiot shep should die horribly and we see someone dig up liaras time capsule 50k years later

Thanks for organizing this. Very helpful.

Although it might be hard for Bioware to hear all this, they should be really proud of themselves for inspiring this kind of fan passion.

Nothing wrong with expecting a "happy" ending. An ending to a game series like this is different from a film or novel. It's much like a dice-rolling roleplaying session, which is the kind of gaming that birthed Bioware in the first place. People identify too strongly with Shep to get much satisfaction out of seeing such an ending. There are certain audience expectations with certain kinds of art. If you read a romance novel, you expect a satisfying romantic resolution. If you read a mystery novel, you expect the mystery to be solved. If you play a roleplaying game... etc.

we deserve a choice driven golden ending after three games
