After seeing some of the other polls created using 3rd party unverifiable polling sites, I decided to painstakingly create an official poll using the bioware forums poll system. (I say painstakingly because there is a 10 minute delay between poll posting, so this took all morning to do. :P )

So there it is, now get to voting!

Start with question 1 (Q01) and go up from there:
Click here for the full list of poll questions!   (Hit Previous Page For The Rest!)

DISCLAIMER:  None of these polls are meant to suggest that anything be removed from the game.

All aspects presented are assuming that the player has to make certain choices to get that outcome or ending, thus preserving the original endings with possible expansion depending on the poll.  Also, any poll option not specifically stating that Shepard lives is assuming that he could live OR die depending on the player's choices.

Also, the Examiner.com wrote an article about this poll!  You can find it here: Mass Effect 3 ending may get overhauled

Anyway, here are each of the polls one by one:

Q01 - It is important that the DLC allows shepard to live and reunite with his squad and love interest:

Q02 - It is important that the DLC allows the player to bypass the "star child" catalyst scene altogether:

Q03 - If the "star child" catalyst scene is bypassed, it is MOST important for the reaper threat to be resolved by:

Q04 - If the "star child" catalyst scene is kept, it is MOST important to:

Q05 - It is important that the DLC allows the mass relay system to stay intact:

Q06 - It is important that the DLC allows the player to prevent the "Normandy Crash Scene" from happening, with the Normandy staying at Earth:

Q07 - If the "Normandy Crash Scene" is kept, it is MOST important that:

Q08 - It is important for the DLC ending to have an additional epilogue for Shepard and his love interest:

Q09 - It is important for the DLC ending to have an additional epilogue for Shepard and the Normandy crew:

Q10 - It is important for the DLC ending to have additional chosable dialog between Shepard and his love interest and squad:

Q11 - It is important for the DLC ending to have an additional epilogue for the main plot choices (Quarians and Geth, Krogan and Wrex, Rachni Queen, etc...):

Q12 - It is important for the DLC ending to not have the "Stargazer" scene with the grandfather and child:

Q13 - It is important for the DLC ending to lower the EMS requirements for all endings:

Q14 - The DLC ending, in general, should deliver the following experience:

Q15 - How do you want the DLC ending to be implimented?  <--- NEW POLL

There you go, if I missed anything or you have any questions or comments, fire away!

WHY... DLC?  A patch would work fine.

This was a great poll. Thanks for taking the time to make this, and thanks even more for taking the time to explain why some of the options you made were the way they were. I really hope BioWare/EA sees this and feels a powerful compulsion to do something.

Because it would take money creating said content. And patches are there to fix bugs... unless you say the whole ending is a glitch. Amusing thought, althoguh quite insulting towards the creators.

You have my vote. Again, I love the rest of the game, despite it being more like a movie.
Heck, Vampire:Bloodlines was son of a bugged game, and a fairly cinematic one, but the overall choices (starting with quite different experiences per character clan/race picked) and vastly different endings which redeemed those flaws.

DLC just means downloadable content. The issue of pricing is still up for debate.

Here is a separate thread that focuses on how the ending would play out under the indoctrination theory. Please post your ideas and criticism there so I have enough info to make an additional poll (Q16).

Great poll. I do think it's important to keep choices in the endings, however. If people don't want the bitter-sweet ending where no questions are really answered, I think it should be kept as the default to first time players, and the ones who want more should replay the game.

I mean that when people are New Game+ or Long Service Medal players, they deserve a longer, more in depth ending where things are more explained than they currently are. Then give them the OPTION to choose between the bitter-sweet endings that all end similarly or a series of newer, more heroic endings that even includes a renegade option for taking political power after the fact.

Just my opinion though.

EDIT: Grammar.

My main issue with the polls is that there is no room for Shep to go down fighting, on her own terms.

All the options that reject the star child seem to assume that Shep must survive somehow.

Some of us would have liked the heroic sacrifice/last stance as long as it made sense and paid off in the ending.

Any option that doesn't explicitly say he lives means he could live or die.  Actually, in general the consensus seems to be player choice, good, bad, live, or die.

I'll be making a final poll with these types of clarifications tonight.  Though feedback on that would be very helpful:  Currently I'm not getting much...

Would just like to say for the first question, I'd like the DLC to be implemented right as Harby touches down, before you get to the teleporter thing in the first place.
