Nice Likert scale forming of the polls, hopefully this will give Bioware some great data. They will probably whine about the whole 'self selection bias' bull**** though.

Q14, aren't 1 and 4 basically the same? Even assuming a "Mega Happy Ending" (lol), the losses are already beyond measure.

First thank you for a well built poll really hope BW takes at least some notice.

The main differences between the two are the "star child" scene being in or not, how the reapers are destroyed, and the amount of losses taken in the fight. (Conventional would leave many of the races pretty decimated but recoverable.) Mega Happy Ending assumes that the catalyst just works and destroys all the reapers without the scene with the "star child", without destroying the relays, and without killing all other synthetic life.

You know, personally I'd prefer a compromise of those two, as in the the Catalyst doesn't actually destroy the Reapers, just weakens them substantially, so that they could still fight back, but aren't practically invincible anymore. That way, the amount of your War Assets might actually matter, too.

What about writing in the Dark Energy plot line that Drew Karpyshyn originally came up with? That was a LOT more interesting and had a more disturbing revelation to the purpose of the Reapers. I think Bioware should write that back in and ditch the overly cliched and over-used "created kills creators" bull-crap that we've seen millions of times already, keep the star-child's answer as an indoctrination trick but not as the "true" function of the Reapers.

Disappointed that the majority really does want a happy ending...but I guess that's the purpose of the poll!

Could we get one more question, regarding the fate of your final squadmates? Something like:

When the Reaper beam hits you, what should happen to your squadmates?

1) They should both die
2) One should die
3) Both should live and join you on the Citadel
4) Both should live and run back to the Normandy
5) It should depend on your warscore.

Voted, I strongly agree with most points but I feel you cannot call it a mega happy end because I don't feel this story can end mega happily. I'd be content with an ending where Shepard uses the Crucible to destroy the reapers (no relay destruction) and leaves the citadel through the beam, maybe carrying Anderson's body, only to find his wounded squadmembers near the beam. To be picked up by a shuttle with medics shortly after.

A nice ending would then be Shepard catching up with his current and former (surviving of course) squadmembers at hospital while he recovers from his injuries. That's about as happy as I can think of it.

Please BioWare, make DLC with more endings.

By the way, I've suggested one of the possible endings for the DLC in this topic: http://social.biowar...3145/1#10143446

Such ending is logical enough.

That's a Mega Happy Ending as far as I'm concerned.  :)
