voted. Though you might want to vote on this one too:

Either way, as long as we can show Bioware that there's some kind of consensus on what aspects of the ending(s) we want changed, it's all good :)

If they're really listening to feedback then I can't think of a more clear way to get the message across. Good Job Brian

The sample is now around one thousand voters, and the "Leave as is" options keep having a 2% of the votes. You can speak a message louder, but not more clearly.

Keep voting! Let's increase the Mass Effect community sample as much as possible to give it even more validity and weight.

This is good. It's better than just "we want something better", it shows in what way, to a degree.

The last question was hard to answer, since I believe the "mega-happy" and "conventional" endings wouldn't necessarily be mutually exclusive. What if Shepard could reject the star child, and the crucible could be re-purposed as a conventional weapon that doesn't use the catalyst at all? Then the reapers could potentially be defeated with moderate/signifigant losses. That way there would still be a big cost, but not an overly tremendous one. The crucible would still be the ace in the hole instead of a huge waste of time and effort.

I think Shep surviving and reuniting with the crew/LI is kind of a given, since the game could ideally be open-ended like ME2 was. I dunno, who else thinks any of this is a good idea?

A lot of the people who voted are kind of stupid. Happy endings don't matter. Suck it up. We just need to get rid of the stupid kid.

Unfortunately, this will never reach a significant level of validity. Self-selection bias. Bioware will just claim that the only people who bothered to take the survey in the first place are only people who disliked the ending. They will also claim that the entire sample from this community site is not representative of the population of Mass Effect 3 owners.

I never liked the kid when he was first seen on Earth, I didn't enjoy creepily stalking him in my dreams in slow-motion, and I certainly didn't enjoy him telling me to sit back and take whatever "choices" he gave me. The kid belongs in that uncanny valley of video game characters, and I wish they had a better character model for him since the game forced him on us constantly.

What bothered me most about the Stargazer epilogue was the voice-acting rather than the content of the scene itself. I know the Stargazer is talking to a child, but his over-acted lines sound very grating and patronizing.

Thanks OP. If Bioware wants to save their game and fanbase they should take this into account.

Spread the word and HOLD THE LINE! ;)

Voted, good poll. The last question was the hardest: I really wanted all those options, including a happy ending (maybe not a Mega happy ending, there should be some losses, even substantial ones). I chose Conventional.

Giving it a bump. Though all I really care about is not having Shepard just casually accept what the genocidal reaper controlling space brat tells him like it's all good.

Uhm, I kinda voted for the 'Mega happy ending' thing, but at the same time I would love different outcomes. Like Shepard going out as a hero/legend (this time with more closure..), I don't mind him dying, as long as it isn't pointless.
