Probably like 5 or 4. But it's a domino effect so they'll likely tell their friends and so on.

I haven't told anyone not to buy the game but I have told people the ending is bad and about how depressed it made me.

I don't convince people to buy games unless I need conscripts for Multiplayer.
That said, I've told people the game is good, with a questionable ending that makes sense if you try and sit down about.
Usually I just tell people to play the game and avoid the forums unless they need help.

So far "not buy" seems to be winning.

I'm forever alone guy in real life, but I have some friends on Steam in which I told them that be careful with the ending, but still told them to buy it. The ending does indeed suck more than anything, but the rest of the 95% of the game is just so damn enjoyable

Just gauging the amount of fan influence over sales. It's one thing for people to claim they will never buy a product, but that's in the future. I want to know if the angry fans are actively discouraging people from buying the game and if the happy fans are actively encouraging people to buy the game. If 1000 people answer this poll, we'll get a rough ratio of how many non-preorder sales Bioware has earned/lost due to this controversy.

I've told my friend and brother to buy it because I have faith that Bioware will fix the crap endings and they shouldn't miss out on the overall amazing game.
Both have the game now and while I wait for some word on a fixed ending we play multiplayer together.
