Dozens of your customers are unable to play your game due to a game-breaking bug that causes the game to freeze at the "press start" screen.  Because of this glitch we are unable to play the game and therefore are unable to participate in this weekend's N7 Operation Goliath challenge and reap the rewards.

This is no fault of our own and we should not be punished because of a faulty product.  I ask that those of us that are suffering please either be given another opportunity to participate in this challenge shortly after the issue has been resolved or be given the rewards as compensation for the gameplay time that was lost due to this bug.
Thank you.

I think his point is more of a "Why are you wasting time implementing this challenge when your game doesn't even work.  Fix your game before deciding to hold contests for exclusive in-game items."

Yes, it would be difficult to pinpoint who exactly is suffering from this horrid bug.  But I have to agree with him in that they should not be doing this at this time.  Because they decided to go ahead and run this contest, they are DIRECTLY PUNISHING those of us that cannot play our game, through no-ones fault but theirs (EA/Bioware).

Another CS no no.

EA's servers should have clear information and/or errors related to gamertags that are experiencing the issue.  I can't imagine it being too difficult to cross-reference their logs to see who is having the issue or to cross-reference those that claim they are having the issue.

There's this too.

Cool a N7 mission to get items not available in the regular game, thats a good idea Bioware. But oh yeah theres just one thing, most of the people that actualky want to play cant because of a bug that you probly dont know how to fix. Thanks a lot Bioware and EA (but mostly EA) for ruining my ME3 experience and what looks to be thousands of others as well.

How can we even play if we can't even maintain a connection with your servers EA? I don't have this problem with other multiplayer games. Please fix it. Although it is a little late for the Goliath challenge.  And I agree with the people above.  Everyone should get the items that were supposed to be rewards.

easiest was I see for compensation is to extend the challenge until after a patch is released, and if enough brutes are killed, extend the deadline to collect until a week after a patch is released. only way that seems fair to anyone experiencing any glitch that prevents them from playing while remaining fair to people who aren't having trouble playing by not making special prizes for people that got screwed

This is a faux-olive branch to try and sooth the masses over about the crappy endings. Frankly by not playing into their little PR scheme you are actually hurting them instead of giving into them. They are trying to distract you from the bad endings of the game.

But do as you will.

Considering that quite a few of us haven't even been able to play the game and complete the canpaign because of the start screen glitch this challenge just seems like a big F.U. from BioWare and EA.  As stated earlier it's completely absurd that EA/BioWare chose to proceed with this challenge knowing full well that hundreds of people are experiencing this game-breaking glitch.

No the event is actual meant to distract us from the bug that is causing everyone to have their characters and weapons reset or lock up.

hahah ps3 sucks.

not really, i would like to get one but it would be for a few select games. MGS4, infamous 2, god of war 3...and thats really all i can think of right now...i'd only get a ps3 for the ps3 exclusive games..everything else, there is xbox 360 lol

Shade it's to do both really. distract from the major game breaking bugs and also distract from the crappy endings. It's like you got a new cell phone but it doesn't work and you complain and take it back to where you got it from. Instead of giving you a new cell phone or fixing it, they give you a keychain hoping you'll forget what you came in for and go away. That is what they are doing.

A word from Bioware on this would be greatly appreciated. Really hoping to avoid getting punished yet again for something that is beyond my control, and have gotten nothing but the run-around from EA support on.

Here's an idea go get a new copy switch your broken one with a brand new one. Im taking a guess but if it works then most likely it was the game if it doesn't well your Xbox isn't working correctly therefore it isn't biowares problem or EA

Sloppyeric it isn't game copy fault or even Xbox. Game is perfectly fine just our gametag is blocking it. For example we can run the game from another profile, but when we are log in on main gametag it doesn't work. People tried to clear hard drive, reinstall game, another copy of game or even log in to main gametag on another Xbox. Game just freeze after intro no matter what we do...

I'm not sure if it was your intention but your statement comes off as quite pompous and arrogant.  I hope that's not the case because if so then you only look like an ignorant fool.

This is an issue tied to our accounts.  Replacing the disc has no effect on the issue whatsoever.  If we sign in to our Xbox 360s using another account the game will function as it should but as soon as we load up our gamertag the game immediately freezes.

If you know nothing of our issue, don't say anything about it.  It makes the rest of us look bad when people make comments like this one above.
