Yeah, I think that is taking it too far.

Yeah. That's, like, precisely what we don't need.

Yes lots of people from both sides of the spectrum hopped on him. In the end he has the right even if we don't like it.

I would say that filing FTC is bit too extreme. However, I think this was mentioned couple days ago by some poster.

But regardless, if the individual who filed the FTC is willing to stand for his/her action and take all the responsibility for whatever consequence that may come up, then I have little reason to question him/her.

We are still holding the line, no matter if one guy simply does not understand the best way to go about it.

At least there has yet to be any physical violence. Militants always make a cause worse.

Whoa...that's just unnecessary. We're trying to give them an opportunity to fix this, not attack them.

I believe that won't help restore trust between BW and the fans.

Unconventional. But he has the right to do it. I wouldn't personally.

This again? It is not extreme *facepalm*.. you can put in a complaint to the FTC if you don't like the refrigerator you got from SEARS guys...usually nothing happens. It is noted and filed away until that model explodes with complaints. IT IS NOT LEGAL ACTION, it is just a complaint. You would need like, a consistent base of complaints of an actual illegal act (theft) coming from thousands and thousands of individuals.

This is a normal consumer tool being used properly, don't read so much into it.

Taking it to the FTC and the BB isn't as bad as it sounds. They're places for customers to go complain when they feel wronged by a business, such as through false advertising (in our case, we were promised a plethora of endings and received one). It's not like he filed a lawsuit; he used the channels made available to consumers for exactly this sort of thing.

I think more of us should complain to the FTC, actually.

Don't necessarily agree with him, but he has that right. He paid money for a product EA/Bioware didn't deliver. Was he civil in his thread here?

Reporting that as news is also taking it too far.  Since when is the random post of a random guy on a forum (this forum, i remember the thread) worthy of being called news?

Now if it actually reached some court approval, then it might become news worthy.  But as it is now its nothing, and reporting on it is just sensationalism.

He was very civil, people just don't understand it's one of the consumer tools we possess. Though it doesn't surprise me, Americans especially like to be given it up the butt by Corporations with no recourse it seems.... until you mess with our Mass Effect story that is!!! :D

That's ALL news is anymore.. sensationalism then the next sensationalism. Little to no facts or real analysis from acreditted individuals is given. They have actors comment on very serious issues... the media is a mess anymore, just ignore it.
