I´ve heard that there tons of dialogues with them.

But in my playthrough they have only a conversation during the Adams quest.
If i talked to them they only say oneliners like Shepard or nothing to report.

And yes I went down there every time after a mission.

I seem to be having the same problem as Janus198. I went down there after every mission and nothing happened.

Never went down that far after getting the models and the hamster, but then, Ken and Gabby never moved from their usual spots - if they had, I would have looked for them, so I guess this never triggered for me either.

Edit: Saw this in the Youtube comments: "Sadly, all of the engineering crew's dialogue is bugged if you have
Kaiden instead of Ashley. So if you don't see any of this, that's why." If that's true, then I guess I never will see it, as Ashley will always be a permanent stain on Virmire's surface.

Edit2: Wow, Ken and Gabby apparently have a lot of random dialog. I did think they were rather quiet in my game. Again, shame I'll never see it if Kaidan's to blame. Hope BW can fix it!

(By the way, I'm on Xbox, so I don't think it's a platform issue)

I just went and looked and those... wow, missed out on some great banter. In short, I apparently have the same problem.

A comment on one of those videos suggested that this happens if you have Kaidan instead of Ashley. That fits for me, what about anyone else?

Though the fix is easy, the difficult part is getting the fix into a patch of some sort. Getting content fixes into patches is much harder than you'd think. It's a giant process. I'll try to get that fix through, but sadly, the odds of getting this type of fix into a patch is very low. It just kills me that so many of the people who care about Ken and Gabby (those of you reading this forum) didn't get to see that content. I tested the heck out of it too for weeks before ship. You just don't now how sorry I am.

Wait... I'm confused. I have Ashley, but I've still never seen almost any of these moments with Gabby and Ken. But according to that post, it should only happen if you have Kaiden. So... why isn't it working for me then either?

dang it! i was wondering why Ken and Gabby were so quiet in this game! I loved their banter in 2, and now I'm missing it bc of Kaidan?

Went out of the room and back in and got another conversation each time and after the next mission they hugged.

Wait, this happened when you had Kaidan alive?

I've played with both Kaidan and Ashley and not had anything other than the conversation about whether or not EDI is part of the Normandy ,or a passenger.

Something is clearly up. May be worth noting on some communications I've received over the libnk whole player have faded out towards the end, so i only hear the beginning and the end. I suspect these are related.

Just a quick note - I also have not had their banter in my play through - Kaiden died in ME1 and Ashley was Shep's love choice - however after her cold shoulder in ME2 I did not allow her back on the Normandy in ME3. This is all on the PC.

I'm guessing that it doesn't matter if you're playing with Kaiden or Ash. This is rather an issue of faulty triggers. Damn it, this game has EA sloppiness all over it.

This really disappoints me. I never saw any of this, and never got any Tali/Garrus banter in Engineering either (saw the Tali/Garrus scene in the Forward Battery though). Despite two playthroughs with Ashley and talking to all of my crew after every mission.

BioWare never bothered with most of the bugs in DA:O/Awakening, and some of those were really game-breaking, so I can't imagine this will get fixed. My disappointment with BioWare grows by the day.

Sorry to resurrect a dead thread, but has this been patched yet?

I re-imported my canon save to get ready for the EC, and it is the save where Ashley died. Has this bug been fixed yet?

No, it's not, but there's a solution for this problem.
Use Gibbed to edit Integer 10330 to 8.
