Yeah, I really would like to have the option of doing that, too. It would make for sense for the cycle to start over fresh, free from the influence of the Reapers, as one of my possible endings/

done and done. I don't think they should just pretend the ending never happened - just work with it - expand it - and give us something that reflects the choices we made through the series.

But let me give anyone interested a detailed walk-through (feel free to use this Bioware):

Let's start with an easy question, did you like the ending?
-No
What should happen to Shepard in the end?
-Shepard dies if he screws up. With too low EM, Normandy does not reach Earth and the rest of it is destroyed over the skies of Earth. If shepard does not achieve enough (no peace between Geth and Quarians, and some other important stuff) he or she suffers the "3 endings" although in updated form (to fix eventual plot holes and unanswered questions etc).
If you think Shepard should live, do you want there be some sort of ceremony at the end, celebrating the victory?
-Yes, but it must be handle well. Like in DAO
How many of the effects Shepard makes during the series do you want to be shown in a final cutscene(s)
Ex. Showing biotic students of Grissom Academy helping shield soldiers, or being biotic artillery
-All major choices/effects from ME3, like the Grissom academy students, Rachni warriors if possible etc.
Do you think there should be cutscenes showing each of your past and current squad members fighting the Reapers?
-yes
Do you want an entirely revised ending, or the current ending edited with more information
- I think it is reasonable from a realistic perspective (that respects the vision of the developers as well as economic reality) to add new endings while also keeping the old ones as options (although they might need to be updated to make more sense, fixing eventual logical holes, giving us more answers)
EMS should not reflect much on dialogue options, unless it involves communicating with the fleet engaged in battle. EMS should reflect how well the fleet is surviving over Earth and if Hackett survives.
Maximum EMS should result in HALF( 50%) the fleet surviving and Hackett escaping the destruction of his ship with his life. Otherwise he parish with his dreadnought when it gets sliced by a reaper main weapon.
Geth-quarian Peace allows "peace ending" if Shepards reputation is high enough for a renegade or paragon persuasion of the catalyst that the analyze of inevitable war between synthetics and organics is outdated. This causes the catalyst and reapers to leave, as they no longer have any reason to do what they are doing. They say that they monitor the development closely and will return if the situation changes. The Charon relay might get disabled, (see below under "Should the Mass Relays be destroyed in the new ending?").
Shepard meets up with his friends LI and Allies on a devastated but living Earth.
War-ending. The Reapers gets destroyed loosing shields and power if the catalyst is destroyed? or something like that
How far back should they start modifying the ending from?
- From the meeting with the catalyst
Do you want to keep the current final choices in a new ending?
-Yes as optional endings among others given you have not done certain things.
Should the Mass Relays be destroyed in the new ending?
- Yes, in the three original endings mentioned above. IF there is a mass relay in viable FTL-range beyond the Charon relay, The Charon could get destroyed or disabled in the "happy" endings. The Alien fleet over Earth can still get home, but it will be a long and hard journey. That would make Earth a far outpost in the new galactic community, expensive to travel to and from. If there is no "nearby" relay accessible through FTL, the relay does not get destroyed in the "happy ending/peace".
Do you think the ending needs a final boss?
-It would be nice, but is not absolutely necessary. Dialogue with Harbinger would be very welcome though.
Do you think the Indoctrination theory should be used by the writers?
-Doubtful.
Do you want an explanation for what the Reapers are and who made them or would you rather it be left a mystery?
- It already is partly explained. More information would be welcomed though.
Would you be willing to pay for a DLC that includes a new ending?
-Buy an ending DLC? Not found of that thought at all.

ex. Cutscene showing next cycle viewing Liara's beacon
-Yes. By 1: Too low EMS (fleet is destroyed trying to retake Earth) 2. By getting one of "The three endings" we have now.
