Like you heard that the endings were bad but you were somewhere in the middle of the game and you told yourself people are probably just a bunch of whiners.

I certainly did.

Man Oh man was I wrong.

"It can't be that bad can it?"

"What was that!?"

"Seriously... what was that?"

"Too far!"

Not me.
I was one of the people that everyone yelled at the week before release, trying to warn people about the endings.

YouTube comment saying that he felt our choices didn't matter. Immediately dismissed it as Bull****.

That night I sat in a Pool of my own tears.

Someone spoiled the ending for me on youtube, talking about how the mass relays are destroyed and the Normandy crashes on an uncharted planet. I was like, "no way the game would end like that".

You can imagine the disappointment.

Yup.

I didn't read too much into it and just thought people were upset about the lack of a sunshine and rainbows ending. Oh how wrong I was.

Same here. I thought with all this hype, the game must be bad, but I want closure! so I preordered.

Start Game,
Ho hum.

Mid Game,
Hell Yeah! Those emotional drama, and some of the subtle choices, encounters with npcs. I'm glad I'm proven wrong.

End Game,
Bioware, how could you do this ENDING!? What were you thinking!?

I kept hearing the endings were bad and your choices didn't matter and I thought "Nonsense, they're exagerrating. This game is a blast, there's no way the ending can be that bad."

And then...

My brother thought I was overreacting until he beat the game last night.

It's the first time I've ever regretted winning an argument with him.

I played the game without any spoilers. After the ending, I came here to make sense of it because I figured that couldn't have really happened.

Me. Truth be told, I thought you guys were blowing it wayyyyyyyy out of proportion.

But you weren't. At all.

In fact, you weren't hard enough on it.

I saw a youtube comment that stated your choices didn't matter. I was like " Impossible! I made a perfect shepard! You probably just didn't try hard enough! "

Oh, how it stings to be proven so wrong.

. . . *cries*

I just remember disregarding the complaints about the ending before the game even released. I should've listened and prepared myself, but even then, I'm sure it would still hurt.

I was more like "People will always whine about an ending..." I played it and all the way to after the credits I could keep my calm. Then there was that scene with the boy and his granddad or whatever. That was just... No. No. No. No.
