You can’t predict how people will act, Garrus. But you can control how you’ll respond. In the end, that’s what really matters.
Describing the ending with a Mass Effect quote...

Did the Alliance teach you to make up crap like that or did you figure it out all by yourself?

Taken from memory, but I think I got it mostly right.

"Can it wait for a bit? I'm in the middle of some calibrations."
Then Bioware decides to keep Garrus from working on the real ending and finally releases it.

I'd like to, if I may, attribute the following quote toward the reaction of the ending, rather than the ending itself. Specifically, replace the word "honor" with "artistic integrity", false as it might have been.
"Because you still have hope that this war will end with your honor intact. Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls, and ask the ghosts if honor matters. The silence is your answer."
Though, to be fair, we've been far from silent. Normally, I'd be all for artistic integrity, however, the ending had none of it whatsoever.

This is all Bioware's fault. What tools they were! I have to spend all day reading fanfiction cause they screwed up the ending.

Wait, wrong game?
