meening a majorety of the fans are NOT pleased with the way the game was wrapped up.
so to call those who want something done to correct this a minority is a blatant lie
or lack of beeing in touch with reality. either way i made my point and it sticks. period.

You do realize its a known fact it was even posted here by someone claiming he cheated on it. Polls are not facts especially when you have someone claiming he rigged it plus 60k isn't even half of 1 million sorry.. you can't say majority

After all these losers came out and started battle crying for a new ending. I will never say I'm a Mass Effect fan and be thrown in the same fecal matter cespool as them. Instead, I'll just say I'm a Bioware fan and Mass Effect was pretty cool
Good we don't need you.

they will check the figures with new accounts and ip addresses.
just due to the costs of creating a dlc the same people will demand for free or just dload from the net for free.
and if theres been cheating they will of course ip ban those who did it.
the entitled never factor in the other sides tenacity to check facts.
still counting those who have been trashing the game, and its still only about a dozen.

I see it as an opportunity for BW to prove that they actually listen to their fans and that we the fans can help shape the direction of the story and following dlc as they suggested
if this actually happens and BW pulls this off, it will be a historic day in gaming history imo.

so your speculating they are cheating. give me a break that is your argument for it only beeing a dozen unhappy people. kinda funny that there is more negative comment than there is positive ones all over the forum. thousands of thousands replies agreeing to not beeing pleased according to you just a dosen. get a grip on reality or stop forcing lies down my throat. m a t ) * ; $ M i d N u m L e t E x = $AJRimmsey wrote...

They are in denial. Sure, you can create multiple accounts and vote, but it won't have any effect on a poll with 56K+ users.

I agree. If this changes a great game with a terrible ending into a great game with a fitting ending we will all (fans and Bioware included) be big goddamn heroes.
As for those who say the people who dislike the endings are in the minority because we don't approach the number of copies sold, you are not thinking about this correctly. Only a small percentage of people feel strongly enough about someting to publicly come out and state they like or dislike it. Check Youtube -- most videos have a like:views ratio of ~1%. That means only 1% of viewers care enough to click a button that is right in front of their faces. The fact that 60,000 people found their way to the poll and clicked it is astonishing, given that they have to first find out about the poll and then register before they can take it. That process is an obstacle that should drive the response rate well below 1%. Furthermore, the ratio of likes to dislikes is very important. On average, it is expected that 10% of respondants (or 0.1% of total consumers) will come out and say they dislike something. If >90% of respondants (or 9X as many consumers) dislike a commercial product, that is way out of the realm of normal and spells serious trouble for that product.
Just because the vast majority of consumers are too apathetic to actively dislike something doesn't mean that it's good. If you went to Amazon and 90% of the reviews said "don't buy this" would you say: "oh, only a small, vocal minority actually reviewed this product, I'm sure it's fine"? I don't think so.

Your post is like a breath of fresh air. Unfortunately, some like to dismiss all evidence because it doesn't support their opinion.

I don't support that move, nor do many of the "retake" crowd. It just seems way OTT.

Morons are the ones that think that just because you like/hate something, you should be called things just because of it, and that's not the way.
