I keep seeing people with Black Widow X, is this even possible?

I'm tracking mine in a spreadsheet, and basically I have everything around lvl 4 on average with a few outliers (Disciple IX, GPS I, Widow I the most notable). I do have the Paladin, Black Widow, and Scorpion.
The only N7 I have unlocked more than once is the Scorpion (puke), and then only to lvl 2.

You can technically have X rank EVERYTHING with N7 level 20. Just sayian.
You'd have to get suuuuper (un?)lucky with character cards tho'.
Not only technically, but also practically possible.
You can just play one class, never promote it and never deploy/enlist other classes. This way you'll stay at level 20 forever.
You don't need to be extra lucky or anything.
Character cards give EXP. If you got a bunch, you'd level up against your will.
Sigh.
After so many posts people still do not understand. Your character levels won't count towards your N7 level unless you deploy(create character) one character in the class.
Did you ever wonder the reason you are N7 1 when you first play while you should actually be N7 6? It's because you didn't create any character in the other five classes.
class levels only count towards the N7 level when you've created at least one character in that class. So if you only play one class and get all other classes to level 20 through character cards alone you'll still be N7 20 or below. You DO NOT HAVE ANY CHARACTERS in those five classes even though the classes are level 20.

Getting a specific item is probably alot more rare than you think. As a round number, lets say there are 50 possible rare items and you're guaranteed one per pack. That means that you have a 2% chance of getting any one specific rare item in a pack. Given that ulra-rares are even more rare, they're likely their own subset. If they're a subset of rare, then your likelihood of seeing a random ultra-rare would be the same as seeing one specific rare (2% or 1 in 50). If that was true, your chances of seeing a specific ultra rare would be .33% or 1 in 300.
Those numbers aren't actually real, but it gives you a ballpark idea of why you can't seem to get the item you want. Think of it like this: Each spectre pack gives a random rare. Getting a specific one irequires cycling through them all. Because ultra-rares are a subset of rares, the entire category appears as often as one specific rare. So the time it takes to get that awesome gun (Black Widow) should be about the same as how long it takes to upgrade the Widow or the Claymore to MK 6.
That said, you also need to know that there is no such thing as random when a computer is generating the list/chances. Computers use algorithms to generate probabilities and algorithms are fixed equations . Therefore, while your chances are near random, there are actual factors which dictate which items you'll see.
Without knowing Bioware's algorithm, those factors could be anything. The equation could dictate not to ever repeat items in subsequent packs, either from the server side (I get a Widow, the next person's pack doesn't), or client side. It could also dictate that as more and more of a specific item is released to the playerbase, it becomes more or less rare. We just don't know what they used in their equation. Well, I don't atleast.

Not to risk getting banned like the person below noted, but most definately a cheat, not to say that it isn't impossible to get extremely lucky or spend tons of actual money
So NSGM if you can remove my quote it would be great

I actually know someone who has a ridiculous amount of good weapons already and he told me how he got them. There's actually a program out there that will allow you to hack the credit store. I do not use the program myself if anyone is wondering. I am proud of my opening and unlocking the legit way
EDIT: Meh, don't feel like getting banned for even telling people how others do so in vague terms.
Know this: You shouldn't hack the MP portion or the SP portion for that matter. Even if its fairly easy to do, it will likely get you banned from MP and in the end it will just ruin your enjoyment of the game.

Really? What is wrong with this community if there are so many people thinking its odd that people have more than 20 bucks a month to spend.. Just because YOU dont have any money to spend, for whatever reasons, doesnt mean every gamer is some loser that still lives at home in some basement and doesnt even have a partner.
People act like it costs a fortune for some crappy bioware points. I dont bother buying because its just stupid to spend money on lame virtual items, but I really dont understand how people are baffled by the fact that they have a life and actually make money...

Thank you for your input Mr-holier-than-thou.
I've spent over 170 bucks in the last 2 weeks trying to get lucky on spectre packs.
I don't know if its just my luck, but out of the 107 spectre packs i've bought, the only "Ultra-rare" weapons i have is a Black Widow I and a Scorpion II.
Either i've been extremely unlucky, or that guy has spent over a thousand bucks++ for a Widow X, Paladin X and Javalin X.
Now i don't know the chances of getting Ultra rare items, but im fairly sure they're called 'ultra rare' for a reason.
And how many gamers would you think would spend that much money on ME3 just for the multiplayer weapons?

You make no sense. YOU are the one with the holier-than-thou attitude.
Not everyone is like you, and not everyone is like the basement dwelling geek sitting in front of the PC 24/7.
In the grown up world, its quite common to have savings, or have money to spend freely each month (albeit not in the thousands, more like hundreds).
Everyone on this forum seems to think, by default, that people that play games are idiots that cant hold a job. That, in my opinion, is utterly wrong.
To bad you were not lucky with your buys, that does NOT mean everyone else MUST have spent OVER 1000 DOLLARS on packs.
Holier than thou, lmao, that doesnt even make sense, remotely.

Ah, apparently i am a basement dwelling geek now.
You make many assumptions.
I suppose you are a homeless person then, eh?
Since you have admitted that you yourself do not spend any money on spectre packs because you 'don't bother'
, i suppose that translates into 'i'm a homeless person, and i can't afford spectre packs.
And i don't know where you get that from, but nobody in this thread has even remotely suggested that Gamers are idiots living in basements.
I play games. YOU play games. Heck, everyone is on this forum, because THEY play games. Somehow you got the assumption that everyone thinks you're an idiotic basement dweller, but that doesn't mean that you have to insult everyone else for disagreeing with your opinion.
I'd love to go stay and argue with you, but as i only get time to play Mass Effect on weekends, i won't waste time arguing with a silly person like you.
I actually wish i was a basement dwelling geek, but unfortunately, i have real life commitments, such as defending my country. I'm a soldier.
What do YOU do? Look at yourself before you start insulting everyone else.
