I see...well I wouldn't view it as diluting the statement, I'd view it as a mature statement clearly stating that while you understand all positions, you're pushing forward with yours. f I were working at bioware, or (lol) EA I'd take the rational, argument covering all sides, rather then the singular mission statement. But that's just how my mind works.
The mission statement exists because it unifies us. It is also easy to remember and easy for media outlets / others to see and agree with. It is supposed to represent all of us, so it can't be too specific. And it's short enough to make an impact.
For the record, I do have a playful streak (my signature for example) I'm still a very hard person to talk to I will admit. For example, the "don't play the game part" makes me want to roll my eyes and call you over dramatic. I don't understand why you have to threaten, or state it. Just do it.
It's not a threat, it's a request. And it's there because there's the strong possibility that many RME3 people may not think that EA/BioWare will look at the stats of how much people are playing. People may furthermore not realize that their lack of playing and subsequent appearance in the stats is a tool we can use to voice our opinion. A tool that is stronger than forum posts.
Again, this is to make it as brief as possible while still capturing the general spirit of what people are thinking, saying, and feeling. The concept comes from the following quote:I do not mean to come of as rude, or non-caring about your opinions. I just don't understand why you don't just include all grievances, and stances.

2) Repeat the message as often as you can. Self-explanatory. However, it can't just be "I hate the ending" or "hold the line." You'll have to keep repeating your simple, bullet-pointed list of complaints. Groups like the IRA don't repeat long treatises (as I've been seeing on the boards) on their complaints. Nobody will read that. Keep it simple and keep it consistent.
Because being dramatic is fun! Haha, beyond that, though, it shows that we don't hate the ME universe (considering the quote is a reference to Kirahee). And "Hold the line" sounds a hell of a lot better than other alternative phrases.I mean, why complain about it? "hold the line" is overly dramatic in my opinion, why bother with saying that? Why not just say "Don't change your mind?"
