I'm currently in Redcliff and on the mission to destroy the attacking creatures that come out at night.  I've gone through and pursuaded the blacksmith to create the armor .. waited until nightfall and I've attacked everything that has come at me.... .. But now I'm just stuck wondering around .. No more monsters are spawning.. and none of the NPCs end the quest.. Did the game glitch.. or am I blind/stupid.   Please help, last save was 3 hours ago and I'm not looking forward to redo'ing it all because the quest bugged out.

If you're talking about the part by the Chantry, check around where they spawn from, sometimes they can get stuck and you need to go to them.

You ran down and stopped the attack in front of the chantry? If that's the case, there are probably a few walking dead left in the alleys/streets. Happens to me every time.

Try reloading the last save or autosave and go through it all over again. It's a glitch within the game. Sometimes, some missions seems to get 'stuck' until I walked around or approach important NPCs twice.

After you finished the immediate area, a soldier NPC will appear and ask you to follow him to more killings.

If you still finding glitch, travel back up the hill to where the knights are and they could still be under attack! Did you use the oil barrels up top? Also did you get the dwarf and elf to help you?
