Yeah, I will echo the sentiment of leaving real world politics out of this.

It's not a right wing/left wing issue. I'm sure there are people of all sorts of backgrounds in this movement. Maybe even some that like Fox. Not worth taking the risk.

Just appreciate being acknowledged by mainstream news. That's a big deal.

Don't let these developments go to your heads guys; keep holding the line!!

dont worry regardless of what the "mainstream" think about us i refuse to abandon one of my favourite things just so i dont get butt hurt by words!

I WILL CONTINUE TO HOLD THE LINE.

Be great if Colbert, Stewert, or Bill Maher does though! Espically Bill Maher

It would be even better if Colbert got in on this. If anything it would be rather hilarious XD

Hmmm ... O'Reilly may hurt us but he may be a huge war asset to.

Since hes more conservative, he may view the entire 'entitlement" portion same as Forbes.
I also think if it comes to light, those who say hiding behind a charity is disgusting are in for a mouthful from him.

But... its hard to say. time will tell.

Im not a huge fan, so may be missing something, but from what I have seen from him, its possible he will lean towards our side. Just based on his typical view of things.

Conservative? O'Reilly? I've watched him take the left-wing view on too many issues over the years to consider him a right-wing guy. He's a moderate that leans slightly to the right.

Anyway, I suppose it's good to have more media coverage. I just hope Fox doesn't have another guest on that didn't do his/her research on the matter like what happened with ME1. Last thing we need around here is another story for the Fox-haters to point to so as to justify their anti-Fox views. (As though other news networks have never had people on that didn't do proper research on the subject matter)

Agree  Elite Elite ... Bill is more closer to the middle if you watch him ... and the bashing came from a guest "specialist" type. All the stations have that PHD, Psycho babble talking head that makes my nose bleed. They will tell you that you are eating wrong, raising your kids wrong, walking wrong, blah blah.

I would be interested to either see a link or a transcript to what FOX had to say or it didn't happen. I can think of a few shows/hosts on that station that would be positive ... or hilariously funny (Greg Gutfeld for one) on the topic.

Jon Stewart has stated on his show that he is a geek. Loves Star Wars, loves video games.  I actually tried posting general information on Retake Mass Effect, our donations to Child's Play and the various articles (Forbes, especially), but unfortunately the forums are down over there :crying:

In CNN's ME3 review the reviewer writes:

"And without giving any spoilers, the ending was a bit of a letdown for me, compared to all the excitement leading up to it. It left something of an unsatisfying aftertaste, but one that only ends up being a minor detraction from the entire adventure."

So CNN is not complete barf.

But still, 'bit of a letdown' and 'something of an unsatisfying aftertaste' is such an understatement.

...UNLESS the reviewer was speaking in BRITISH rhetorics

Keep trying. The more exposure we get the more pressure is put on Bioware/EA.

Hmmm, interesting. Well, methinks BW/ME is getting alot more press with this than they ever would have without the controversy.

Alot more attention.

I don't want to be all, "I see Conspiraseeez." But.......

In a way, this recent situation is quite significant to the gaming industry due to many philosophical questions surrounding how should the video-gaming industry operate and what should the relationship between the customer and the maker of the video-game should be.

Can I just ask... being a british person I am a little confused...

Why is Rhetoric British exactly?

I mean is there something about Britain, or British people, that makes Rhetoric inherently ours? Or something about Rhetoric that makes it inherently British?
