Wow CNN had a good clip, not judgmental and just stating the story! Still afraid for Fox News.

I agree.
It doesn't paint us in a good light either, becasue I fear many will associate this with the take Back ME movement.

I agree with one comment, that many of us do NOT support that form of action, and would rather work with Bioware to come up with a win-win for everyone.

Exactly.
I think many of us would like a comprimise that would make everyone (or almost everyone) happy.
But at least game informer said it was just one fan and not all of us... actually, looking at the comments it would seem that most are completely against this one fan's actions.

Jon Stewart has stated on his show that he is a geek. Loves Star Wars, loves video games.  I actually tried posting general information on Retake Mass Effect, our donations to Child's Play and the various articles (Forbes, especially), but unfortunately the forums are down over there :crying:

Keep trying. The more exposure we get the more pressure is put on Bioware/EA.

I will. I'll give it another go later tonight

That's the spirit!! HOLD THE LINE!!

Shop Smart, Shop S-Mart...... oh wait

MalevoIence, will you hold my line?

What?!?!

Oh god, Somebody went full retard..

Yeah that went down yesterday on the forums. There is no way it will do anything. We have over 35,000 people involved in this we can't control them all.

Fox News? Snap. I thought they only care about homosexual sex scenes present in the game.

That and declaring war on every country east of Germany.

Someone call Fox News and tell them that the ME3 endings as they are currently promote Obama for 2012.

We'll have a dedicated non-stop 24/7 media attack dog on EA sooner than you can say "We Report, You Decide"

Fox News? I hope they don't know about the gay characters, Or the sex.

And suddenly everyone on BSN just realized why we have new homophobic trolls on the forums today.

Can't believe it actually made it to news stations such as CNN and Fox. This is a great thing for us.

I don't like either CNN or Fox News, but I agree. The fact that the news is going that far is rather incredible.

I love it when my stereotypes are confirmed. All you leftards PMSing over Fox News is hilarious. Every once in a while I feel bad that my low opinion of you is uncharitable but then you clowns start your pathetic uneducated yapping and I'm right back to knowing that yes, you are indeed the unthinking drones I thought you were.

Any news on the problems with the endings that reaches a wider audience helps improves the chances Bioware does something to fix this.

But go right on with the standard leftist hissy fit. Wouldn't want you to ever deviate from the party line and think for yourselves now would we?

Considering the last time Fox News talked about Mass Effect, I don't blame people being concerned about what they have to say. I don't like Fox News but then again I don't care for CNN either. But I do agree that since the movement is getting noticed by major news pograms it shows how far we've gone to getting our problems heard.

Actually, if you look at my post, I defended Fox. Stereotype disconfirmed. :wizard:

Yeah, they did a horrible job last time,  But right now more news helps the chances for better endings Bioware.  If the idiots at Fox happen to come by here to reasearch anything (yeah, the chances of any reporter actually bothering to learn anything are low, but they might), what kind of mood do you think they'll be in when doing their stories on it after reading this asinine thread?

Take allies wherever possible and right now news on this in the major outlets helps put pressure on Bioware.

Basically they're like Khalisah al-Jilani. You want to punch her out every time she speaks, but in the end she would prove to be a valuable war asset.

Good Lord, people, what does politics have to do with any of this? Take the lib/con passive aggressiveness to the off topic forum and focus on the point of all this.

The Retake Movement has grabbed the attention of yet more media outlets that get EA/BW exec's attention.

This is great news!

Hold the Line.

Oh crap Fox news? DON'T TELL THEM THERE ARE GAY CHARACTERS IN THE GAME! Also don't tell Cooper Lawrence they made another Mass Effect. She will use her "evidence" to show us we are all amoral sex fiends.
