Yeah, something this is what I expected and wanted. Choices! Many choices, good and bad! Many paths to many endings! Seeing my choices matter in the here and now, not in some vague future I have no emotional connection to!

I was expecting this! I was waiting to issue commands from the Normandy and while I was in London...but I didn't.

I thought we were going to get something along these lines, too. That's certainly what the pre-release interviews seemed to suggest.
It's too bad Bioware couldn't have taken the ending of ME2 and extrapolated its moving parts to the greater galactic war in the same way they took the idea of loyalty missions and made them apply to large fleets and races.

Exactly. Why wasn't the ending to ME3 like the suicide mission in ME2?
You know when you have a thing that you are very proud of (no matter how stupid it is) and want everyone to see it, well BWs thing is...wait for it....Space Magic.
And damn that's one big ass diagram, and a detailed one too.

This won't give any speculation by the fans; and they don't need closure.

Aside from quarians being so critical this was more or less what I was expecting from ME3.

Posté 17 mars 2012 - 11:15
Nice. Quarians are a bit to vital but still...nice.

Looks like what I expected to play out. I would be happy if I could replace the ending with something like this.

It's average... If it would come to be made in actual game it's not that big and epic. Better than what we have now but still not perfect. (and this comes from me as RPG games designer and writer with some experience).

great work. that's the kind of stuff we want to see.

Wow...Logic...what a concept. Bioware sees this and thinks...too expensive to make.

The flow chart is a good start but more variables need to be added. Too much hinges on the Quarians.
-Did side withe Salarian Delatross or not?
-Do you have all squadmates from ME2? Also did you do their loyalty mission?
-Also did you fully upgrade Normandy in ME2? determines Joker's effectiveness in battle.
-Did you recruit Chakwas? Determines how emergency medical treatment is for ground forces.
etc.
Overall this is what I want to see.

Bioware, copy this and start working on the ending.
Just replace % completed with EMS.

This kind of thing was EXACTLY what I expected. Two additions I would make reflecting still earlier choices: A scene with our without the Destiny Ascension, and something with the Rachni.

This. Finally we have something to point to when someone goes "what is wrong with the ending, and what do you want to see?"
This.

Good, but the only reason the Geth were controlled by Reaper code in the first place was because they let themselves be to prevent the Quarians wiping them out. If you saved the Geth, they become fully sentient, thus have no reason to be controlled by Reaper code...
And the Geth fleet seems to rival the Quarian fleet in size (reading codex articles)...
But apart from that, it seems good.
