Really great flow chart and more or less what I was expecting from Bioware when the game came out. I'd hope if they do release ending DLC it would follow along these lines and not simply amend the Star Child because honestly that whole bit just had no place. Anyway, this is how your decisions should have effected the last battle and your outcome with a nice little epilogue following it all to close up the rest of the lose ends (pending ending results, decisions, etc).

I honestly haven't read the whole thing yet, but this kind of variation is what I (and i assume most people that dislike the ending) were expecting from the game based on statements from the developers. Nice work.

If Bioware finally uses it, I hope the guy who did this chart at least get payed or something.

This Flow Chart is impressive; and should be used as a 'stepping stone' for crafting a more ambitious ending. This includes incorporating the Rachni, Geth/Quarian Alliance, etc. This however, is still a fanastic step in the right direction. Bioware, TAKE NOTES NOW!

It is just me or was the synthesis option taken out in that chart?
It's not an inherently bad option, if well done and if it is an alternative among different alternatives (instead of a green version of the one ending).

Nicely done, but I think it should be easier for the Reapers to win. Still, would take this over the current endings any day.

I don't agree 100% with all the choices/outcomes, but this is exactly the sort of variation in potential endings that I was expecting given what BW told us prior to release, and assuming there would be an expansion of how the ME2 ending was handled.
I'm guessing they had something like this planned, hell, they must have, but at some point they were just rushed to completion and decided to end it with 'speculation is awesome lol'.

That's pretty impressive. I wonder in comparison, what Bioware's flow chart looked like. Straight line into 3 lines, back into one line....?

Very good chart, very good.
Still think there are more options that could be thrown in there, such as saving the geth and quarians should have an affect/rachni queen saved sending in her troops/taurian son saved, boosted taurian moral and effectiveness of the taurian fleet ext. Perhaps even a confrontation with Harby directly in the Normandy
Never the less far better and well thought out ending

This is great. What I thought the ending would have been.

This what the ending should be, this is good. Who ever did this well done well done indeed.

This is more or less how I expected the ending to play out. It FEELS like something BioWare would do. THIS is why the ending is so disappointing. Not because we're entitled. Not because we're whiny and want a "happy" ending. Because the ending had so much more potential. Because the ending didn't FEEL like Mass Effect. This ending FEELS like Mass Effect so much that it pains me to look at this and see the lost potential right in front of me.
Edit: Keep this topic bumped; BioWare needs to see this.

Now that's an ending that ME deserves. It can be improved in many ways I guess, including Rachni and some more characters. Anyway it's certainly a way to go for BioWare. Not that speculations for everyone x.X

Add more loss/gains to the background chatter as you go along based on other choices. Like the 103rd getting completely knocked out because you didn't do arrival. or David holding shields up to protect more people then you would otherwise have. Plenty of places to add in comm chatter based on our older save data, that's already tied into our war assets.
Minor things that give the ending depth.
Edit: Have the geth not join the reapers if you didn't kil the heretics. Give your assets a "Renegade" buff if your bar is high enough, so you forces fight harder, so you don't need as high of a score. Make Tim actually fear a renegade shep? I roll paragon, I don't know what would work for the red eyes.

The assault on Earth would have been so much better if it had played out like this. Although it would be a nice to make the geth fleet be as important as the quarian one if you managed to make peace between them and the quarians.

This is what the ending should have been. I can't really see any other reason why it wasn't for any other reason than, "We wanted to be artsy."
