If they charge for an ending fix DLC that doesn't include significant extra content, I'll buy it, but likely never buy another Bioware game until it's on sale.
If it's a free fix DLC, then I will however update my metacritic and amazon reviews to reflect the finished game.
I will however not stand by Bioware since they should've delivered the promised product in the first place, not after a large campaign by dissatisfied fans. I will also find it difficult to trust Bioware enough to pre-order another game from them, regardless of what happens.

I agree fix the ending and ill gladly play BW/EA games again , until that day not another cent !!
This.
As a Bioware fan since Baldur's Gate, I really want to be a fan again and I will be if they make this right.

I can see where you're coming from with that. Personally, I'll have a hard time pre-ordering any further Bioware games myself. Once trust is lost, it is VERY hard to earn back, but we'll see.Tangster wrote...
I can't support this. The ending should've been finished properly before release, delays or not.

Maybe we'll get an incredibly well done, free ending DLC that knocks everyone's sox off. That would probably do it for me.

I want to buy ME merchandise and every DLC they release for ME3, but I'm not doing any of it until the end matches the game.
If Mass Effect 3 and the Mass Effect series weren't so good, it wouldn't matter that the end was so bad.

Yes, for release of a quality product (free or not), but not for a nebulous "guarantee."

Good will isn't really enough at this point.
I bought the collectors edition and felt ripped off even before the ending.
Twenty dollars for a gun I used once, an ugly N7 Hoodie I never used, a "dog" you can't interact with outside of saying "Good boy!", and some $10 Day 1 DLC.
The artbook was alright, but really, it really only seemed to show me how little thought they put into things like Tali's face (Tali wasn't even present in the book) and that Javik was conceptualised along with the other characters.
That and the fact that the now-standard Triple-A tactic of charging that extra $10 compared to most PC games...
If you look, I own a ton of Bioware games. I bought them day 1, and after this? No going back, sorry.
I'm not going out of my way to review bomb them, nor will I go out of my way to praise them if they do "the right thing."
They have simply lost a loyal customer.
If anyone asks, I'll give an honest opinion.

I choose to hold Bioware accountable by informing them I will watch what they do, and if I feel it's unsatisfactory then I will choose not to give them my business anymore.
Whenever I speak of the game to anyone, I do praise it's quality and impact. But I also notify them of the fact of what they chose to do with the endings. I do not give any spoilers, but I make sure that anyone who has played and invested time in the first 2 know that they will be disappointed.
New outlets and media are already reporting on Biowares responses to the fans so I don't need to. Even Forbes has articles about it, yeesh! I disagree with some of these reports simply because they are promoting the notion Bioware is actively addressing fan concerns instead of just taking information to decide whether or not to act on it.
I don't generally write reviews. However if I did I would write about the game in as honest a way possible. I'd discuss it's strengths and weaknesses equally. Anyone who writes a negative review solely to hurt the game and company shouldn't be allowed to write reviews because they cannot remain objective. I do not blame them as they are generally the most devoted fans, or bored trolls.
I love Bioware and their games. However such an action with one of their flagship franchises is shocking and damaging. I choose to hold them accountable as should you. This does not mean we cannot be civil. Also, giving blind faith to a business is a poor moral decision because as much as a business is about serving fans/customers it is also about money. Considering EA is the shadow over Bioware any final decision will favor the monetary costs over respect to the fans wishes.

Right now, I'm not happy with Bioware. I'm not boycotting their products, just refusing to pay non-bargain-bin price for them. Even if they release a "fix," that wouldn't be enough to suddenly flip my switch back to, "Yay Bioware!" It's important that we let Bioware (and EA) know that the type of ending that we were given is not acceptable given what promises were made. To let them profit off of fixing something that they broke that should have never been broken sends entirely the wrong message.
If they want to fix it, and release it for free, great. If they fix it, and then sell it, why on EARTH would they not do the same kind of thing in the future?
