So if they did release a new ending, wouldn't you be outraged?

While I want them to do SOMETHING about the endings, one thing that concerns me is that even if they do, no matter what they do they won't please everyone.
Even if they change/add to the ending there is no way everybody is getting the ending they personally want.
What happens then? Do people carry on demanding yet another ending? Or will people actually be able to accept that as long as it is a better ending, even if it's not what they themselves wanted, it's good enough?
This.
For the record i dont mind the endings at all. I would like a bit more clarification on some points maybe, but overall i dont have a huge issue.
I do feel for the people that do though.
But there is always going to be someone unhappy with it whatever they do. They cant concede to everyones wishes.

All you have to do is read a few anti-ending threads and there's your answer.

any other ending is better than the one we got
I'd like to think so. I can't help but think that if/when a better ending comes some people still won't be happy if it isn't the exact better ending they were hoping for.

Either way, MY Sheperd was indoctrinated, fought against it and won by choosing the "destroy" option, and woke up in the rubble of London.
Now he just has to wait to be picked up by allies, get healed up, rejoin with his squadmates and proceed to kick Reaper ass, who are definately not the housecleaning pets of some StarGodChild, and are instead the galactic personification of inconprehensible fear that they have always been.

...but i'm curious to know why you think that Arrival re-wrote the ending to ME2... i mean, it didn't even touch it. it can take place either before or after the collector base and only one thing changes in the arrival story if it's done after, and that's if harbinger shows up as a reaper or as a collector... i mean, the ending to ME2 is exactly the same regardless...i'm confused, why do you think it re-wrote the ending to ME2? -scratches head-

There's reasonable and there's unreasonable.
I think based on the size of the outcry right now due to the fact that the ending discards everything you did in the last five minutes, and the clear plot holes, and bad writing in an otherwise exceptionally written game, it's clear that as consumers who paid money for something, we have a right to request reparations.
If it were a decent ending that showed some service to your choices from even just this last game, and didn't completely negate every choice you ever made before the last 5 minutes, it would probably be unreasonable for people who just plain didn't like it to demand a new ending.
