So if they did release a new ending, wouldn't you be outraged?

If they try to make me pay for it, I simply will not, and move on. It would not make me 'outraged' only disappointed and disillusioned.

While I want them to do SOMETHING about the endings, one thing that concerns me is that even if they do, no matter what they do they won't please everyone.
Even if they change/add to the ending there is no way everybody is getting the ending they personally want.
What happens then? Do people carry on demanding yet another ending? Or will people actually be able to accept that as long as it is a better ending, even if it's not what they themselves wanted, it's good enough?
This.
For the record i dont mind the endings at all. I would like a bit more clarification on some points maybe, but overall i dont have a huge issue.
I do feel for the people that do though.
But there is always going to be someone unhappy with it whatever they do. They cant concede to everyones wishes.
Clarification on what?

No. They need to fix the ending... if not for their fans, than for their own artistic integrity... it's a glaring story oversight that seems far too bad to not be intentional.

To the defense of people who feel the way I do, I do not mind if I don't get the exact ending that I want. If you consider ME1 and ME2, of course I'm sure I could find something else to add into them or one more thing to change the way it ended (Actually, I'm not sure I could because even then it was beautifully executed and satisfying, especially ME1 with the zoom in to Shepard against a background reflecting Paragon or Renegade). I just want to feel that there is some hope and not all doom and gloom for the people who are living 100-200 years before Stargazer and child. Be given some kind of closure and understanding.
If people are not happy if they come up with an ending that is a "happy ending" or typical hollywood movie style ending, they are just trolling. If they wanted a gloomy dark ending they have the originals. The fact that neither of these options would satisfy them means they fit into the idea of the gamer who is never satisfied. But the majority of people unhappy about the current ending are not all "never satisfied" gamers.
I understand the comments above may not directed at any particular person who feels as I do or directed at me, but I just thought I'd add in my two cents.
EDIT:

I wouldn't. In fact, I'd probably be singing their praises as a company that actually listens to their customer base instead of burying negatives with spin tactics, which is exceedingly rare these days.

If they make a new ending, that's fine. I'd download it to see what they came up with, even if it costs money, but I'm fine with where it is right now. I hope they know there are a bunch of us out here that still appreciate all their hard work.

Just to be clear I wasn't attacking anybody so there's nothing to defend against. I was simply asking the question it wasn't about happy endings or gloomy dark endings.
I also want a better ending but my point was simply that everyone has their own ideas as to what that better ending would be. And Bioware can't possibly fulfill them all.

On the other hand if BW says "my bad" and here's a free DLC that is complaint with how we marketed the game then that would be another story.

I would be disappointed for BW if they did make a new ending. I'd appreciate that they are a company willing to go that far for the customer base, but it must be hard for them to consider doing that. Players are upset because they invested all that time and emotion into these three games and then didn't feel the end justified it, but multiply that by 100 for the developers and writers. How much of themselves and their lives they put into this series over the past decade, and to then have all these people yell at them that it wasn't good enough and didn't live up to expectations. That can't be the fun conversation they were hoping to have with the people they have tried so hard to please with this amazing story.

We really DO appreciate Bioware for creating an amazing and immersive series, man. But the ending was so poorly done (sorry but it's true) that it doesn't justify itself to be the only choice of ending in the ME universe. We are up in arms because we CARE about the ME universe. We don't want to see it end on such a low note.
