Not only is BW asking us to download a new ending but its also unclear if BW would give it to us for free or make us pay for it. Another problem I have with this is that you're only downloading a new ending you don't get a new world or new missions or anything just a new ending. I know players got upset that Arrival essentially rewrote ME2s ending its the same principle a new ending(s) means they rewrote the endings we got. Talk about needing a really long time to properly explain everything.  

It would need a fair amount of new content and missions with it anyhow. Especially if the indoctrination theory is correct. You would have to go kick some Reaper arse then.

If they brought out a download to fix the ending it would at least get rid of some of the bitter taste the current ending left in my mouth, though i would be more than a little pissed if said download was paid DLC. Either way it would probably be the last thing i would buy from Bioware for a loooong time.

Depends on the dlc. The so-called "Epilogue" didn't improve the ending of Prince of Persia '08. Considering all the feedback and backlash though, I imagine BioWare would spend a good quantity of time on it to make sure the new ending would be able to at least satisfy most fans.

It'd probably be better for them to announce it asap if they green light it, even if the actual dlc doesn't come out for a couple of months. Or maybe not...The bad PR is already a given. Give the fans too much time to build up hype for new dlc, the more disappointed they may become. Oh well, that's in the marketing department's hands anyway.

Sure, people will complain about forking over more money for the game they already paid for. But that doesn't taint the entire series like this ending does.

If they charged for it, yes, I would be quite irate. If free, my head would probably explode from the sheer unlikeliness of that scenario. But I seriously doubt we're getting a new ending, period...so my current state of quiet rage and my head are both safe.
